FOR THE GRANDKIDS: After Frogmore eviction King Charles offers Harry and Meghan Buckingham Palace apt
MONTECITO, CALIFORNIA: Things are no more royal in the royal family after it has been said that it may never be possible for Prince Harry and Meghan Markle's children to have a genuine relationship with their grandfather, King Charles. Since their parents stepped down as working royals, three-year-old Archie and one-year-old Lilibet are being nurtured in remote Montecito, California, more than 5,000 miles from the UK.
Within 24 hours after the dramatic memoir by Harry hit the stores in January, the couple is alleged to have received eviction orders. The Duke and Duchess of Sussex were given just a few weeks to pack up their possessions and leave the property. Harry's much awaited memoir, 'Spare', is already published and things don't look good on the royal front.

A feud in disguise
The royal couple, who relocated to California, USA, in 2020, is profoundly worried about the impact this will have on their two children. Harry and Meghan worry that their children are now less unlikely to form a close relationship with their grandfather. But, many are hopeful that things between the two sides are warming up after it was reported that King Charles would offer Prince Harry and Meghan Prince Andrew's old apartment in Buckingham Palace when they visit the UK.
Future visits would be "incredibly complicated," a source reportedly told The Sunday Telegraph if the Sussexes were forced to lodge outside a royal estate's protective gates. The monarch made the decision last week to evict his youngest son and daughter-in-law from their Frogmore Cottage home in the UK. Harry and Meghan's bond with the other royal family members seems to be seriously damaged.
Invitation still in the pipeline
The King will be crowned on May 6, which also happens to be Archie's fourth birthday. Since the Duke threw bombs at the royal family in his scathing biography, Harry and Meghan's participation has been in doubt. The King had, however, invited Meghan and Harry to his coronation, it was announced today. However, the couple's acceptance is yet to be revealed.
Yesterday night, a spokeswoman for the Sussexes revealed that Harry had “recently received email correspondence from His Majesty’s office regarding the coronation." They stated: "An immediate decision on whether the Duke and Duchess will attend will not be disclosed by us at this time,” according to The Time.
Painful flashbacks for Harry
According to a royal insider, the monarch believed Harry "crossed a line" with one particular royal, Queen Consort Camilla. Claims revealed that King Charles couldn't believe his son had unexpectedly accused Queen Camila of leaking information to the media. King Charles was reportedly shocked that Harry referred to Queen Camilla as "the villain" and "dangerous." On the evening of March 4, Harry reinforced his condemnation toward his father. After the eviction noitce, The Duke of Sussex, 38, lashed out at his "incredibly painful" childhood, in which he complained of being starved of hugs and attention.
Elizabeth II gave the Frogmore Cottage to the Sussexes after their May 2019 nuptials. Since stepping down in 2020, Harry and the Home Office have been at odds over whether he should receive the same level of security as a working royal. All in all, in a series of unexpected comments and claims, the world awaits the final verdict from King Charles.
