'The Masked Singer': Knight and Hedgehog unmasked, fans wonder if Tom Brady is Hummingbird

Harp became the show's first masked singer to be crowned the queen

After a long wait, the premiere episode of 'The Masked Singer' was finally out on Wednesday, September 21. The nail-biting first episode had four singers in it, Harp, Hedgehog, Hummingbird, and Knight. After watching all four of them perform flawlessly on the screen, it was time for some of the masked singers to get eliminated and only one of them to become the king or queen of the episode. Keep reading to know who it was.

The first one to get unmasked in front of the audience and panelists was Knight. Another one following the unmasking line was Hedgehog. On the other hand, Harp became the show's first masked singer to be crowned the queen. Indeed, she will be moving ahead in the show for another round.

'The Masked Singer' ended its premiere episode with a cliffhanger. The show hinted to the fans about having three unmasking but revealed only two. Fans wonder why the show is not unmasking Hummingbird. One wrote, "W#F WHY ARE WE WAITING TIL NEXT WEEK TO UNMASK HUMMINGBIRD?! F**K #TheMaskedSinger". Another fan tweeted with certainty, "Tune in next Wednesday to find out who’s under the Hummingbird Mask… It’s gotta be TOM BRADY!!! #TheMaskedSinger" Well, some of the fans even slammed the show saying, "Really irritating. But lying is in these days. #TheMaskedSinger".

Knight is William Shatner 

The first unmasking on Fox's singing competition show was Knight. And, it's no other than the legendary William Shatner. Even though the clues matched, fans were shocked to see him on the show. One wrote, "No way!! The knight is William Shatner!! The clues matched, I didn't think it could be, tho. Still busy picking my jaw up off the floor. Great job!! Amazing season 8 start!!" Another fan explained the popularity of William saying, "The Knight is none other than… …two-time Emmy Award-winning actor and legend… WILLIAM SHATNER!!! He played Capt. Kirk on the original “Star Trek” TV series in the 1960s. He also starred in the first five original “Star Trek” movies. #TheMaskedSinger" Furthermore, one writes in astonishment, "William Shatner is 91 years old??? #TheMaskedSinger"

Hedgehog is Eric Idle

The second unmasking done on the show was of Hedgehog. Even though he struggled to take off his mask, it finally showed Eric Idle behind it. The actor, comedian, musician, and writer is famous for Monty Python and the rock band The Rutles. Well, fans seem to be excited about seeing Eric inside the Hedgehog costume. One wrote, "The Hedgehog is none other than Monty Python’s Eric Idle!!! #TheMaskedSinger" Another fan in shock quotes, "i cannot believe they got ERIC F**KING IDLE on this show AH #themaskedsinger" "tag yourself. i’m william shatner looking mad confused while watching hedgehog get unmasked #TheMaskedSinger", says another 'The Masked Singer' fanatic.

It remains to be seen who is under the mask of the Hummingbird. Fans claim it to be either Tom Brady or Peyton Manning. However, many stands confused about this masked singer. Let us further wait for the release of another episode to know who it is.
