Actor Idris Elba tied the knot with supermodel Sabrina Dhowre in a gorgeous three-day ceremony which took place in Marrakesh, Morocco on Friday.
The 46-year-old actor and the 29-year-old stunner met while Elba was working on "The Mountain Between Us" in Canada. The duo kept their relationship under wraps for a long time and made their first public appearance at the premiere of "Molly’s Game" during the Toronto International Film Festival in September 2017. In 2018, the couple got engaged.
Now for their special day, the couple had a "colors of the Souk" themed dinner on Thursday, their nuptials on Friday, and an all-white party on Saturday. Attended by the who's who of the industry, close friends and family, the wedding may have been on the down low but it certainly wasn't modest.
Even Meghan Markle and Prince Harry were invited to the event but they made up for their absence by showering the newly married couple with a lavish gift. The royal couple reportedly sent the duo a piece of artwork by the Connor Brothers, which reportedly cost more than $9,000, according to the Daily Mail. The picture is the cover of a 1950s-style book cover showing a glamorous woman captioned with the words: “Why fit in when you were born to stand out?”

Elba also put up a stunning surprise DJ performance along with the Nigerian AfroBeats superstar, Davido Adeleke.
Christian Louboutin was also seen rocking it out with Davido. The All-White rager had guests from all over the world and we couldn't be more jealous of the party. Diana Ross and son Evan Ross also attended the gala.
Dhowre posted the first few stills of their nuptials the day after the wedding and captioned it: "The best day of my life, thank you to everyone who helped make it so special ❤️." Elba also left a cute comment on the picture. Twenty-nine-year-old Sabrina was seen sporting two beautiful dresses which were designed by Vera Wang. One of the images shows Sabrina looking breath-taking in a form-hugging white gown and had her make-up done by Charlotte Tilbury while her hair was styled by Luana Babbi.
46-year-old Idris was seen sporting a sharp suit designed by Ozwald Boateng.
Ebony magazine also shared a cute picture of the couple and we couldn't be more thrilled for the two of them. The couple was also seen hitting the club after their party.
