Fired 'Teen Mom OG' star Farrah Abraham uploaded a video of herself on Instagram wearing a fringed jacket and shorts while being straddled upon what looks like a horseback. She uploaded the video with the caption, "I miss cowboy & Indian movies... makes me wonder why I don’t see more native American’s in more Tv & Film.. something to work on next." The location of her post was set to Hollywood, giving rise to the question: is Abraham making her acting debut in films? She's been dropping a lot of hints on her social media for over two years, which has led to speculations of her wanting to establish herself as a fixture in Hollywood movies. The reality TV and now social media star has appeared in a couple of films such as 'I Got the Hook-Up 2', 'Axeman 2: Overkill' and 'Adam K'. Her roles in these films, however, have been cameos at the most. So she is yet to make an appearance in a film that has her as a central character. In May last year, she shared a throwback photo of herself from the red carpet of 2018 MTV Movie and TV Awards.
She was seen donning a pant-suit with sequinned pants and high heeled strappy sandals in the photograph. However, the caption of the photo is where all the speculations began. "Blessing the feed #tbt of #mtvawards. Style Icon In A SUIT that epic teen mom feature film we’re all waiting for is on its way #pantsuit #chanel #farrahabraham #legend #og," wrote Farrah.
In an interview with Too Fab on the red carpet at the same award function, she said she's focusing on screenwriting. "I plan on doing my Teen Mom film, so maybe Paramount, it’s a Viacom-owned company, maybe we’ll do a film together. That’s what I’m working on, screenwriting, the next thing in my career I’m excited for," she had said at the time. Abraham has also appeared in a commercial for an audio company which also features her daughter Sophia. However, she drew a lot of flak for that one as the commercial painted her as a neglectful mother.
In 2018, she also revealed via Instagram stories that she plans to turn her book, 'My Teenage Dream Ended', into a movie. The book was about the untimely death of her daughter's father, Derek Underwood. In an interview with In Touch, she said she was looking to cast actors for the said film. "I’m currently doing private castings and getting ready to make a memorable feature film," she said while also adding, "I look forward to have many fans who supported me through Teen Mom be part of the film."
