Inside Tina Turner's health woes
The renowned artist, known for hits like 'What's Love Got To Do With It' confronted numerous health challenges during the height of her career. Turner courageously shared her experiences of enduring a stroke, battling cancer, and facing kidney failure, which necessitated a life-saving transplant in 2017. In a recent documentary about her life, Turner revealed that her health struggles were so severe that she contemplated ending her life until her husband, Erwin, selflessly donated one of his kidneys. Additionally, she carried the burden of post-traumatic stress disorder resulting from the domestic abuse she endured during her first marriage to Ike Turner.
Adding to her sorrow, Turner experienced another heartbreaking loss as she tragically lost a second child shortly before her demise. Her son, Ronnie, aged 62, was discovered deceased outside his residence in Los Angeles. His untimely demise, occurring in December, was marked by difficulties in breathing, and he was found unresponsive by neighbors. This devastating event added to the series of tragic life events that the singer had already endured. In 2018, she experienced the devastating loss of her other son, Craig, who tragically died by suicide.
