Galecki foreshadowed during one of his interviews what he wished to do after ‘The Big Bang Theory’ ended. He wished to visit family, and indeed, that is what the television star is doing now, as he spends most of his time with his son, Avery Orbison. In the interview talking about the wrapping up of the show, he said, "The only manner in which the cast has discussed wrapping has been that we're all going to be very sad when that day comes," Galecki said, as reported by E! News. "But I think at this point everyone's very comfortable with 12 seasons being a good time to go home and see our families," he added. Before the show ended, he started dating Alaina Meyer in August 2018. Their son, Avery Orbison, was born in November 2019. However, after one year, in November 2020, the pair reportedly broke up.

His career after ‘TBBT’

According to his IMDb, he spent some time on 'The Conners', resuming the character of David. Galecki also provided the voice of Henry in 'A Dog's Journey'. Aside from that, he hasn't done any other acting, and he currently has nothing on the horizon.
