Many social media users now believe that the duo who dated from 1994 to 1998, will rekindle their romance. Tweets of Moss being Depp's 'true love,' inundated the microblogging platform once she gave her testimony. One person noted that Depp 'lit up' when he spotted Moss on television, while another asked if they were still romantically together. 

Moss, 48, set aside her well-known hate for media and interviews and came in Depp's defense on May 25, Wednesday. She took the stand and delivered a stunning blow to his ex-wife Heard's case by dismissing the actress' claim that Depp once pushed his supermodel ex down the stairs. As she talked to the courtroom about their '90s relationship, Depp fought to conceal his delight, giving out a slight grin. Many viewers of the trial, which is being live-streamed online, were quick to note the exes' cheerful dispositions during the evidence, and some began to advise that the couple resume their romance.

Moss, a British model, denied that her ex-boyfriend Depp hurled her down a flight of stairs, saying it never happened. Moss stated: "He never pushed me, kicked me, or threw me down any stairs," said Moss, who was testifying as a witness at Depp's defamation trial against his former wife Amber Heard.

Heard during her testimony highlighted an incident in which Depp allegedly shoved his former girlfriend Moss down a flight of stairs during her testimony earlier this month. Depp's attorneys used that reference to bring Moss as a witness to answer the claim, and she testified via a video connection from Gloucestershire, England. Moss said she was in a romantic connection with Depp from 1994 until 1998.

She was questioned about an event that occurred during the couple's trip to a Jamaican resort. "We were leaving the room and Johnny left the room before I did," Moss said. "And there'd been a rainstorm and as I left the room I slid down the stairs and I hurt my back. And I screamed because I didn't know what had happened to me and I was in pain. He came running back to help me and carried me to my room and got me medical attention," she said in her testimony about the staircase incident.
