‘Truly incredible’: Fans hail 'Queen' Taylor Swift for donating over 125,000 meals in Florida
TAMPA BAY, FLORIDA: Long live the Queen Taylor Swift! The ‘Lover’ crooner is again making headlines. However, this time is not for the news of her break up with former beau Joe Alwyn. The ‘Champagne Problems’ star, who is currently enjoying her record breaking ‘The Eras Tour’, has allegedly donated a lump sum amount of money that can be used to feed approximately 125,000 meals.
Swift made the donation through a non-profit organization Feeding Tampa Bay who took their official Instagram page to thank the multiple Grammy winning singer-songwriter. Sharing a montage of Taylor Swift’s images, they wrote, “Thank you @taylorswift for being a HERO and supporting Feeding Tampa Bay’s mission to end hunger by 2025! Your generosity will place over 125,000 meals on tables! #TSTheErasTour #erastour.”

This is, however, not the first time that Swift has made donations to food banks during her ‘The Eras Tour’. She believes in entertaining the audience at the arena and also strives to help the less fortunate with her generous donations. During the opening night of her tour at Glendale, Arizona, news broke that ‘the 1’ singer has made a huge donation to the Arizona Food Bank Network. "It's not every day that you get a call from someone who works for Taylor Swift, so we were dubious at first, but happily, it turned out to be absolutely real," Terri Shoemaker, vice president of external relations at the organization, informed the local news outlet, AZ Central.
Nevada, where her next stop was, also was on the receiving side of the songstress’ bounty. A food bank network working in the Nevada area, Three Square, revealed on their Instagram that Swift extended help to them and wrote, "We don't know about you, but we're feeling grateful on this day, March 22!" They added, "@TaylorSwift has made a generous gift to Three Square, allowing us to provide thousands of meals to families and individuals struggling with hunger. Thank you to Ms. Swift for supporting our mission and the local community."
