Kaylee Goncalves' dad reveals REAL REASON why she called ex Jack DuCoeur multiple times before death

MOSCOW, IDAHO: On November 13, 2022, four University of Idaho students—Xana Kernodle, Ethan Chapin, Madison Mogen, and Kaylee Goncalves—were fatally stabbed. The suspect, Bryan Christopher Kohberger, is allegedly considered responsible for these heinous murders by the authorities. November 13, the day of the murders, is still a mystery, as people still wonder why Kaylee made calls to her ex-boyfriend, Jack DuCoeur hours before getting killed.
Also, people have been speculating what Kaylee and Mogen were talking about Adam, who reportedly is DuCoeur's roommate, in the viral CCTV footage the night before getting killed. In the video in which Kaylee, Mogen, and DuCoeur were spotted, Kaylee was heard asking, "What did you tell Adam?" In response Mogen said, "I told Adam everything." This whole scenario which was a mystery, which has been solved now. Steve Goncalves, Kaylee's father, has explained what Mogen told Adam in the 'Exclusive Goncalves Documentary'.

While talking about DuCoeur in the documentary, Steve pointed out the CCTV surveillance video. Explaining about the video, Steve said in the documentary, Mogen talked to Adam about Kaylee "trying to get back with Jack." On the other side, a Reddit user has pushed a theory and has allegedly claimed about the phone calls made by Kaylee to DuCoeur hours before getting butchered were regarding "rekindling her five-year-long relationship," and "Kaylee wanted to get back together with her ex."
The user went on to say, "According to Steve Goncalves in the Youtube documentary 'EXCLUSIVE GONCALVES DOCUMENTARY: Shocking Revelations & Bittersweet Memories Shared' by Chronicles of Olivia, Maddie told Adam that Kaylee wanted to get back together with JD." The user further expressed thier grief and wrote, "It's heartbreaking to me to think that a lot of us expected Adam's testimony to be the puzzle piece that explained everything (stalker getting kicked out of corner club?), but in reality, Maddie was just telling Adam that Kaylee wanted to get back together with her ex."
In the end the user mentioned, "Those phone calls at 2am to JD were solely about Kaylee trying to rekindle her five-year-long relationship. Such an innocent, college kid conversation. And it just goes to show that none of them knew of their fate that was hours away. Idk why but this has me absolutely bawling right now at 1 am."
However, since the murder, false rumors have dominated social media, and a number of claims have emerged without any supporting evidence. The Moscow Police Department, however, has handled the information leakage discretely and the sealed affidavits along with important case specifics were only recently made public.
Last footprint timeline of Kaylee and Mogen
Kaylee and Mogen were captured on camera at the nearby Grub Truck around 1.40 am. Earlier, they had been spotted in Corner Club. They then used a personal driver to travel home, arriving at 1.45 am, according to the police. The person who drove them home and a man captured on surveillance footage at the Grub Truck were not thought of as suspects by the police. This was both girls' last known outing in front of the public, as reported by MEAWW.
Revised time of death as per affidavit
The four students were earlier considered to be murdered on November 13 between three and four in the morning, according to the authorities. However, they now think that all four students were killed between 4 and 4.25 in the morning. The one-hour window has been cut down to 25 minutes as per the affidavit that was made public on January 5. According to phone records, Kernodle was using TikTok at 4.12 am, suggesting that she was still awake and alive, as MEAWW previously reported.
