Evan Rachel Wood gives custody of son Jack, 9, to ex Jamie Bell after alleged Marilyn Manson’s threats
NASHVILLE, TENNESSEE: 'Westworld' star Evan Rachel Wood, who lives in Nashville, Tennessee, has agreed to give custody of her nine-year-old son Jack to ex-husband Jamie Bell amid an ongoing legal battle between the two. She apparently took the call following alleged threats from rocker ex Marilyn Manson, who said that he would 'f**k' her then eight-year-old son.
According to legal documents obtained by The Blast, Wood agreed that Jack “primarily live with [Bell] in Los Angeles," where he is staying with his second wife and 'Fantastic Four' co-star Kate Mara and their two children, who were born in 2019 and 2022. The court filing read, "[Wood] shall have custody of Jack one (1) extended weekend per month from Friday, after school or 10 am."

Here's what we know
In a lawsuit filed in January 2023, Manson got accused of “childhood and adult sexual abuse, sexual battery, assault and molestation”. The suit alleged him of assaulting an unnamed plaintiff when she was 16 in 1995. He was also in April 2021 for alleged rape and sexual battery, reports The Guardian. More than a dozen women, including Wood, accuse him of abuse, the accusations Manson has denied.
'I was brainwashed and manipulated into submission'
Wood and Bell, who married in October 2012, welcomed their son in 2013. And the following year, they split. In 2016, she said she was the survivor of sexual assault but did not reveal the identity of the abuser. In February 2021, she named the abuser as Manson states Vanity Fair. As per the outlet, she wrote on Instagram, “I was brainwashed and manipulated into submission. I am done living in fear of retaliation, slander, or blackmail. I am here to expose this dangerous man and call out the many industries that have enabled him, before he ruins any more lives. I stand with the many victims who will no longer be silent." In an interview with The Cut in 2022, she said spent hundreds of thousands of dollars on security at her LA home, including installing bulletproof-glass windows, a steel door, and a security fence, to keep her and her son safe.
The actress revealed in custody court and told the judge, as per The Blast, “I am a key witness in a pending criminal investigation. In connection with the investigation, I allege that I was the victim of torture, rape, and pedophilic grooming by an intentionally known public figure.” And continued by saying, "I am extremely afraid of the alleged offender. I have suffered a severe, traumatic physical and emotional injury at his hands, and I am afraid that he will seek retribution against me for testifying by harming me, our son, and members of our family. In my experience, the alleged offender is very retaliatory and has always made it clear that he will ruin my life." Bell filed documents stating Wood was keeping their son from him. To which, Wood said, "I have not kept Jack from Jamie, who has the means and opportunity to visit Jack whenever he wishes. I have conveyed to Jamie my very real and deep concerns regarding my and Jack’s safety should we take up residence in Los Angeles.”
