'American Horror Story' star Emma Roberts continues sharing drop-dead images of her Instagram. The pregnant movie star doesn't hesitate to show off her baby bump on the social media site and rightly so - she has been glowing!

Awaiting the release of her upcoming Netflix romantic comedy 'Holidate' which releases on the streaming site on October 28, 2020, Roberts is returning in a role that she hasn't played in a long time. Unlike her onscreen character though, Roberts' personal romantic life hasn't been all that smooth. She might be happy in a loving relationship at the moment, but she has had her fair share of troubles.

So who is Roberts dating?

Roberts is known to be private about her relationships. "I never want to talk about relationships I'm in or that are ending or have ended," she had said. "It's hard enough to be with someone by yourself, let alone with an audience. Growing up is hard." Unfortunately for her though, being an actress, it is indeed difficult to remain private. It was in March 2019 that Roberts made her new relationship with 'Triple Frontier' actor Garrett Hedlund public. It was shortly after her breakup with Evan Peters. The couple was first spotted in the Silverlake neighbourhood of Los Angeles, where sources reportedly said that they saw the 'Troy' actor with "his arm around [her] for a bit and then they were holding hands".

Soon afterwards, more insider accounts started coming in. In March, another source reportedly said that "Garrett and Emma have been friends, but this is new, casual, and just a couple of weeks old". But now over a year and a half later, perhaps their relationship is not that casual after all. In August 2020, the couple announced that they were expecting their first child, a boy. The 'Scream Queens' star confirmed the news by posting a series of photos on Instagram. "Me...and my two favourite guys," Roberts wrote in the caption, alongside two blue love heart emojis.

A tumultuous past

We wish Roberts and boyfriend, Hedlund, the very best for their new baby. But her past has been a tumultuous one.

Her relationship with Evan Peters ended rather abruptly - even after they announced in 2014 that they would be tying the knot. Their relationship lasted two years from 2012 - after they worked together in the film 'Adult World'. Barely months later, their fans were shocked to find out that it might have been a violent relationship. In July of 2013, the two were staying at a hotel in Montreal, Quebec, when their neighbours overheard a dispute coming from their room and called the police. After a "heated argument", it was found out that they had begun hitting each other - so much so that when the police arrived, they arrested Roberts. According to a TMZ report, Evans was found with a bloody nose and a bite mark.

In a joint statement afterwards, they announced that "it was an unfortunate incident and misunderstanding", and in March 2014, Peters announced that he and Roberts were engaged. Despite the engagement, they took months-long breaks in their relationship in 2015 and 2016. This on-again-off-again relationship finally ended with Roberts moving on with Hedlund.
