'I liked them together': Emma Heming gushes over Bruce Willis and ex Demi Moore's throwback photo
LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: At a time when bitter feuds between ex-spouses and their current spouses are commonplace, the Willis family is creating new forms of amity and love. Bruce Willis' wife Emma Heming Willis, 44, recently shared that she "liked it" when the 'Die Hard' star and his former wife Demi Moore were together.
Bruce and Moore's eldest daughter Rumer Willis shared a photo of the former couple from the 1990s, showing Bruce in a polo T-shirt, cap and beard, while Moore looks gorgeous in a casual top leaning against her then-husband. Emma shared the same photo a few hours later with the caption, "Yeah. Me too. I liked them together as well."

Willis family dynamics
Bruce Willis and Demi Moore got married in 1987 after dating for a few months. The ex couple welcomed three daughters together, Rumer, Scout Willis and Tallulah Willis before getting divorced in 2000. Bruce married the British model Emma in 2009 and welcomed two daughters, Mabel and Evelyn. However, the ‘Unbreakable’ star’s first and second family are in a harmonious dynamic as they share the actor’s birthday and anniversary together.
Recently, on the occasion of Emma and Bruce's marriage anniversary, Emma shared a throwback video from 2019 where the couple could be seen exchanging vows again at the same place where they tied the knot for the first time. Guests in attendance included Demi Moore, Rumer and Scout among others. She shared the throwback post with a long caption, saying, "On our 10th wedding anniversary we decided to renew our vows in the same place we said “I do” back in 2009. I’m so happy we did. Seize every opportunity to unite and celebrate with family and friends. Those are the moments and beautiful pockets of memories that you get to hold on to for a lifetime. And we get to keep those memories safe and alive for the ones that might not be able to 💌"
She did not forget to thank the extended family as they made the ocassion even more special. "A big shout out to our videographer @demimoore, our wedding singers @rumerwillis @scoutlaruewillis and our two flower girls Mabel Ray & Evelyn Penn 🌸 @stevoeads for marrying us, again 💍 And to our sweet family and friends for always showing up for us 💞@buuski @zorina.heming @maryjobrunoinc @robokraft Beth, David and Sofia #weddinganniversary #maketime #makememories," wrote the mother of two.
On the ocassion of Willis's birthday, the family gathered again to wish the 'Pulp Fiction' actor. Moore along with her daughters visited the Willis family house to celebrate the occasion. The 'Striptease' actress shared a video clip from the occasion on her Instagram account. "Happy birthday, BW! So glad we could celebrate you today. Love you and love our family. Thank you to everyone for the love and warm wishes — we all feel them," erote the 'Ghost' actress.
She also shared some snaps from the party with the caption, "More from Bruce’s birthday yesterday ♥️"
Demi Moore even quarantined herself with the Willis family during the COVID-19 Pandemic in 2020. She posted an adorable picture with the caption, "Family book club... How to Rule the World from Your Couch — quarantine edition."
Talking about the experience, Demi Moore said in No Filter with Naomi featuring Naomi Campbell, "There's been a lot of challenges and a lot tragedy with the pandemic, but I also think there's been a lot of gifts and blessings," before adding, "It worked out that Bruce came and spent time with us". After Emma's children were finished with their school, even they joined the Idaho home.
She also added, "It was really a blessing," before continuing "It's everything that's come forward has allowed us to reevaluate what's important and what needs attention that has been overlooked and neglected. It was amazing."
The 'Ghost' actress added, "Our family regardless of what the shape of it is, it's important to keep together and for the little ones to feel comfortable with me, and to know me so they also know their sisters better," before concluding "It was really sweet and we did have some silly times for sure."
Bruce Willis dementia battle
Tragedy struck the Willis family when the family patriarch was diagnosed with Dementia earlier this year. He was diagnosed with Aphasia in 2022 too. Emma took to her Instagram, to inform her followers that, "Our family wanted to start by expressing our deepest gratitude for the incredible outpouring of love, support and wonderful stories we have all received since sharing Bruce’s original diagnosis. In the spirit of that, we wanted to give you an update about our beloved husband, father and friend since we now have a deeper understanding of what he is experiencing". She further continued, "Since we announced Bruce’s diagnosis of aphasia in spring 2022, Bruce’s condition has progressed and we now have a more specific diagnosis: frontotemporal dementia (known as FTD). Unfortunately, challenges with communication are just one symptom of the disease Bruce faces. While this is painful, it is a relief to finally have a clear diagnosis."
