Emily Ratajkowski admitted that she is going through an "emotional and mental battle" while self-isolating amid the coronavirus outbreak.

The 28-year-old model has her husband Sebastian Bear-McClard to keep her company and they have been camped up in their Los Angeles home during the pandemic. EmRata recently admitted that staying "busy" without stepping out from the confines of her house is a difficult task to balance.

"For me, it's more of an emotional and mental battle of keeping my spirits up and staying busy," she said while speaking with Vogue for their video series, 'A Zoom of One's Own'.

"(I had) to put together a master schedule today; I was really overwhelmed by the amount of (Zoom) calls," she added.

She also admitted to having a lot of thoughts about getting more involved in social justice. She revealed that she's determined to advocate for people who "don't have advocates" during the current crisis.

EmRata said, "I'm planning on doing a lot more in the social justice space because that's so important right now. But also, because Bernie (Sanders) dropped out, I also need some sort of hope… and advocating for people who don't have advocates in these situations feels good."

Meanwhile, the model also dispensed some self-care advice, recently. She encouraged people to do small things like styling their hair to "stay sane" amid the health crisis.

She said: "A tip to staying sane is: showering and brushing your hair. Seriously, just do it. Maybe even put lotion on. You'll be amazed at how much little rituals of self-care can help lift your mood."

She is also not the one to play by the rules during the current situation. She is of the belief that there are absolutely 'no rules' during the pandemic when it comes to routine and she also advised people to stop putting pressure on themselves to conform to a particular routine.

The 'Gone Girl' actress added, "Something to remember is: No rules. If one night you can't fall asleep, fine. If one afternoon you can't seem to stay awake, fine. Listen to your body and stop pressuring yourself. Please."
