Emily Ratajkowski and Sebastian Bear-McLard: How 'serial cheating' claims ruined 4-year marriage
American actress and model, Emily Ratajkowski, 31, again shocked her fans after the news broke out that the 'My Body' author is reportedly planning to divorce her husband Sebastian Bear-McClard after four years of marriage. The model, who first sparked romance rumors with the producer McClard in February 2018 was spotted without her wedding ring on Thursday, July 14 giving rise to rumors of trouble in their marriage. The couple have been married since 2018 and have a 1-year-old son together named Sylvester Apollo Bear.
Before Ratajkowski sparked her romance with McClard in February 2018, she was in a relationship with musician Jeff Magid. The former couple dated for three years before news broke that Ratajkowski was no longer living with Magid, weeks before being spotted with McClard. A month later, Ratajkowski shocked her fans when she announced that she exchanged vows with McClard. The actress married McClard in a courthouse ceremony.

The couple had already known each other for a long time before they came out publicly and announced their wedding. A source close to Ratajkowski told US Weekly at that time that Ratajkowski and McClard shared a bond ahead of their romantic relationship. "Emily has known Sebastian for years. They were all in a friend group. He wasn’t a stranger," the source said in March 2018.
Later, the actress herself confirmed that McClard and her had known each other for a long time. “We knew each other for a long time before and he likes to joke ‘Yeah everyone thinks we got married quickly, but you vetted me for two years," she said on Busy Tonight in November 2018. After celebrating two years of marriage, Ratajkowski confirmed that the duo was expecting their first child. In March 2021, Ratajkowski and McClard welcomed son Sylvester Apollo Bear.
The couple was first spotted packing on the PDA on Valentine's Day, two weeks before they announced their wedding in 2018. In April 2018, on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, Ratajkowski revealed that McClard proposed to her in New York. "[McClard] proposed to me at Minetta Tavern [in New York City], and he didn’t have a ring so I was like, 'Mmm, nah,'" Ratajkowski recalled. "And then he took the paper clip that the bill was paid with and made me a ring, which I actually thought was really romantic."
In October 2020, Ratajkowski announced her pregnancy. "Grateful and growing,” Ratajkowski captioned an Instagram post announcing her pregnancy. At the time, she also shared video footage documenting her baby bump progress, saying, "I dreamed of you for the first time the other night. We were wondering who you will be. One day soon, so very soon, your presence will be real."
In November 2021, In her debut book, 'My Body', Ratajkowski candidly discussed her personal connection with Bear-McClard. "I'm one with my body only during sex. When my husband and I f--k, I like to look in the mirror so I can see that I’m real. It helps me to return to myself, instead of floating above us, which happens from time to time," she wrote. "When I come, I finally allow myself to exist inside my body, even if only for a few seconds." She also dedicated the memoir to her loved ones, adding, "To my husband, for showing me how transforming love can be. To Sly, to whom this book is dedicated. While you grew inside of me, I wrote, hoping to become the best version of myself for you."

With regards to the rumors of breakdown in their marriage and divorce, a source close to Ratajkowski confirmed to Page Six exclusively. “Yeah, he cheated,” the source claims. “He’s a serial cheater. It’s gross. He’s a dog.”
Ratajkowski has not released any statement on the divorce or the cheating allegations and neither has she filed for divorce yet.
