'Emergency Call' is coming back to television, nine months after the unscripted show debuted on ABC. The series gives the audiences a closer look into the first few crucial minutes of emergencies when 911 dispatchers receive calls reporting serious issues. The story is told through the lens of America's heroic 911 call takers.
There are some heartwarming stories and some equally devastating tales that emerge from these calls. Calls to 911 operators sometimes give us the final words, desperate cries for help, save lives in times of emergency and sometimes even evidence to nail a criminal. Air time
'Emergency Call' will premiere its new episodes on June 4, 2021. The show has moved to a new night and will air on Friday nights as opposed to last year's episodes that aired on Monday. The show will air on ABC between 8 pm to 9 pm ET.
How to live stream
Apart from the television premiere, new episodes are added to ABC's website a day after and viewers can access them by verifying their TV provider account. Full episodes are available to watch on ABC's website without a TV provider, eight days after the episode premieres. ABC live streaming is currently available for viewers based in - Chicago, Fresno, Houston, Los Angeles, New York City, Philadelphia, Raleigh-Durham, and San Francisco. A DirecTV, YouTube TV, Comcast Infinity, Hulu, AT&T TV Now subscription too can be used to stream ABC shows.
Plot
'Emergency Call' documents 911 call takers from Austin, Texas; Ogden, Utah; New Orleans, Louisiana; Wasilla, Alaska; and Waukesha, Wisconsin, receive calls that will keep audiences on the edge of their seats. The hour-long episodes follow the dramatic moments leading up to the arrival of help rather than the events after the firefighters, police, or emergency medical services teams arrive. The focus of the series lies on the extreme, suspenseful and sometimes humorous stories that flood 911 call centers.

Luke Wilson
Luke Wilson is popular for his roles in comedies 'Best Men', 'Bongwater' and 'Home Fries'. He continued appearing in comedies including 'Charlie's Angels' and 'Legally Blonde', after which he pursued sinister roles in thrillers such as 'Bad Seed' and 'Soul Survivors'. He also appeared as Richie in 'The Royal Tenenbaums', which is arguable one of his most memorable performances to date.
