ESSEX, ENGLAND: Sophia Grace Brownlee announced on social media that she and her boyfriend have welcomed their first child together. Sophia gave birth to a baby boy on February 26, 2023. On Sunday, the star uploaded the black and white picture of her newborn's hands holding hers.
It seems that 'The Ellen DeGeneres Show' star got the date wrong at first. She mistakenly wrote 03 in place of 02 indicating that the baby was born in March. Well, that couldn't be possible. She later corrected the date, making it 26/02/23. As soon as Sophia announced giving birth to her baby, the internet flooded with shock seeing a 19-year-old give birth to a baby. Sophia Grace announces the birth of baby boy
On Sunday, Sophia uploaded a black and white photo of her fingers being held by a newborn's hands. The baby was seen wearing a onesie and seemed as if it was covered with a knitted blanket. Sophia wrote nothing in the caption other than the date of birth of the baby, "26.02.23 (with a white heart)." As soon as she uploaded the photo, Ellen DeGeneres commented on it, "Welcome to the world, Nicki Minaj the 3rd!"
Back in October 2022, Sophia revealed that she was five months pregnant with her boyfriend. In one of her videos, she revealed the gender of the baby. The 19-year-old claimed, "I am here to tell you guys that I am pregnant." She further explained in the videos that she herself was shocked when she found out about her pregnancy. Back then, she shared that her baby was healthy. Sophia also shared the sonograph photos and the baby's healthy heartbeat. She further revealed the sex of the baby in her social media posts, saying, "I am having a boy!" Sophia claimed, "My boyfriend was super excited about it because I feel like most men want a boy as their first baby."
Sophia revealed the weight of her 'little bubba'
In a YouTube video Sophia did during her last trimester, she revealed the weight of her baby boy. When asked by one of the fans, "how big is little bubba now" Sophia replied, "the baby was weighing 6 pounds 11" a few days after her 36 weeks of pregnancy. Sophia was happy about the weight because the baby was slightly bigger than average and previously he was weighing a little less than average. However, Sophia believed back then that her baby was going to get bigger as they pick up weight quickly during the last semester of the pregnancy.
'It's a personal choice'
When asked by one of the fans whether she will be showing the face of the baby after the birth, Sophia replied, "It's a very like personal choice." She added, "Personally for me, I don't want to show my baby's face at first when he's born until I feel ready to, maybe in a couple of months after he's born." Indeed, she might not show the baby's face very soon. Fans would have to wait for a few weeks or even months to see the face of the baby.
