A horrific on-air mishap involving Italian choreographer and TV celebrity Tonioli Bruno, 66, caused havoc during the Monday, October 17 live telecast of 'DWTS'. The flamboyant judge took an on-set tumble, and fans found host Tyra Banks' subsequent response a tad too hyper. Bruno was the first to comment when Jordin Sparks and Brandon Armstrong performed a salsa to the song 'Let's Get Married' by Jagged Edge. He enthusiastically praised the couple and told the singer that he actually "wants to get married."

Derek Hough, a fellow 'DWTS' judge, disagreed and criticized their routine as being "underprepared." In disbelief over the remarks, Bruno could be seen making a dramatic glance back over his shoulder at the audience. After Derek finished offering his thoughts on camera, spectators heard a tremendous crash. The 48-year-old supermodel Banks screamed, drawing gasps from the audience.

Tyra Banks, who is often called a drama queen, said, “Oh! Bruno lost his chair! Ok!” Meanwhile, Brandon and Jordin appeared to be in disbelief. Bruno was then seen on the floor behind his desk as he admitted, “I knew it was gonna happen.”

Tyra then said, “He's passing out, he thinks Derek is crazy!” while Carrie-Anne Inaba sprinted over to assist him. The host asked Bruno when he had returned to his seat, "Bruno darling, you okay?" He informed her, "I'm fine. I lost it, I'm sorry," while holding his back and appearing in pain.

Some fans, however, claimed that Tyra reacted excessively to Bruno's tumble.

One user tweeted, "Petition to get a new host for #DWTS I cannot listen to Tyra Banks speak anymore." Another said, "lmao not tyra yelling at bruno because his chair fell." Someone else asked, "Who do i have to pay off to get tyra banks permanently removed from hosting dancing with the stars." One fan angrily tweeted, "Somebody really needs to tell Tyra Banks to quit talking so dang much. She ruined too many moments tonight." Another said, "Sometimes I wish Tyra Banks would just shut it with the yapping. it is so annoying." A fifth tweeted, "Hey @officialdwts you gotta get #tyrabanks off the show - she is a terrible host."

The episode's shenanigans follow weeks of on-air errors as the show is now telecast live on Disney+. Fans have frequently demanded that the former 'America's Next Top Model' star be booted from 'DWTS'.

Viewers recently criticized Tyra for mispronouncing the name of Landon Barker, Kourtney Kardashian's stepson, twice in a row while he made appearances to support his girlfriend Charli D'Amelio. She was also bashed for her preference for "unflattering" attire.
