'DWTS' Season 31 Disney Night: Are judges favoring Heidi D'Amelio? Fans say show's 'rigged'
'Dancing with the Stars' Season 31 Episode 4 was devoted to Disney+, titled 'Disney Night'. Indeed, the dance performances and the theme of the night were inspired by Disney acquisitions. And it seems Heidi D'Amelio and her partner Artem Chigvintsev did justice to the newly released episode.
Heidi seems to be improving with each passing week. Heidi and Artem's Viennese Waltz to 'Chim Chim Cher-ee' by the cast of Mary Poppins was up to the mark. The couple managed to bag two 9s and two 8s, a total of 34/40. Well, that's an impressive score! Bruno Tonioli praised Heidi's performance claiming that she was "practically perfect". Moreover, Carrie Ann called Heidi and her jive to be "magical". Derek Hough praised saying their performance was "pretty, clean, and precise". However, Len Goodman was the only one who thought that more dance and less use of umbrellas in the performance could have done the performance better. Well, 'DWTS' fans also believed the same. They slammed claiming it wasn't too good but still being a famed star helps her get the best score out of the judges.

Is the show rigged? Well, it's something that 'DWTS' fans claim all the time after they see someone's dance not doing justice to the score they get. Moreover, fans believe that there are other celebs, like Shangela, in the show who constantly make effort to do better but still do not get as good scores as some who manage to score well all the time even after their performance being almost average. A fan slammed the show, tweeting, "Heidi D'Amelio is consistently doing meh. And getting such good scores. She did Bette then Shangela this week. She got nines. The rigging is insane". Last week, Heidi was second from top and Charli D'Amelio was on top with two others. 'DWTS' fans now wonder whether the same will happen this week. "They better not tie up the top spot with the same 3 people again. It’s getting tired and played out", wrote a fan.

Moreover, a fan tweeted, "Idk what it says about me but #DancingWiththeStars makes me ugly/proud cry every single week". Well, not only in this week's episode but fans have also slammed Heidi previously. "I saw at the start that Heidi D’Amelio dance partner was lip syncing which is why my suspicious minds make me feel like they are overly praising them & giving them way too high scores!" tweeted a fan. Another wrote, "Jessie James decker is constantly robbed and given terrible critiques. She did great and the first word out of the judges mouth is it wasn’t her best. It’s so awful. And also Heidi Dimielio did not good but they gave Shangela and Selma worse scores".
