Lifetime’s upcoming thriller drama ‘Driven to the Edge’ follows the story of Tess, who falls victim to the obsession of a rideshare driver. Interesting much? ‘Driven to the Edge’ is set to premiere on Lifetime on July 5 at 8/7c. 

Plot 

The official synopsis for ‘Driven to the Edge’ reads, “Fashion designer Tess is a true millennial obsessed with using rideshare apps to get wherever she needs to go. When she meets a new friend, Jaye, during a car ride as a fellow passenger, they immediately form a strong bond. But as Tess’s friends start to question Jaye’s odd behavior and even recognize Jaye as one of their past rideshare drivers, Tess slowly realizes the new friend she’s made is harboring a disturbingly dark secret with an agenda to ensure Tess never leaves her.”

Taylor Spreitler essays the role of Tess in the Lifetime movie. She’s famous for her role as Mia McCormick in the hit series ‘Days of Our Lives’ from 2009 to 2010. Spreitler is also known for her roles in the sitcom ‘Melissa & Joey’ and ‘Kevin Can Wait’. She has also appeared in an episode of ‘Young Sheldon’. 

Amanda Grace Benitez
