'Utterly confused': Drew Barrymore called RACIST for posting video of her enjoying the rain, in latest woke outrage
In a bizarre incident, actress Drew Barrymore has been accused of racism for just posting a video of enjoying herself outside in the rain. The 47-year-old shared the short clip on TikTok as well as Instagram while dancing and having fun in the courtyard of a building during the drizzle as she wrote, “Whenever you can, go out into the rain. Do not miss the opportunity!”
In no time, the video went viral on the platform with many jumping into the comment section, applauding Barrymore’s zest for life. A person reportedly said as reported by Insider, “Watching her heal her inner child makes me so happy.” The second one wrote, “This is so main character! I love it.” “This is all I needed today,” the third one added.

But not all seemed happy with the ‘50 First Dates’ star’s cheerfulness. An unnamed TikToker accused her of being a colonizer, who wants to “dismiss and disrespect the boundaries that black creators have set." The critic was unhappy because Barrymore had allegedly culturally appropriated the trend started by Black TikTokers.

As per a report, “In May there was a trend on TikTok which was basically black men frolicing, i.e. running around joyfully in a natural setting like a field. It was a contagiously silly idea and it caught on quickly. Other black TikTok users joined in the fun and the hashtag #blackmenfrolicking was used more than 600k times.”
However, the unnamed complainant’s allegations against Barrymore backfired as a shocked user asked, “What the heck? What boundaries have black creators on TikTok set for everyone? Filming joy at frolicking in the rain and posting it to TikTok is rude to black people???” Politician Shukri Abdullahi Abdirahman tweeted, “I'm so utterly confused. Somebody, please explain to the connection between frolicking in the rain and black people? Are there historical atrocities committed against black people by a white person(s) frolicking in the rain? My questions are genuine.”

Have you ever noticed how the people who claim they can’t be “racist” are always the most racist of all? Strange how that works.

The third user wrote, “Have you ever noticed how the people who claim they can’t be ‘racist’ are always the most racist of all? What is wrong with enjoying the rain and posting it. I don't get it. Why on earth is this offensive? Please explain. I really don't understand what the problem is. You could go out in the rain and enjoy it also and post it also, couldn't you? Why is this wrong?

Why do people have to go so far out of their way to become the eternal victim of various identity politics?

They can take any situations good, neutral, or bad and somehow pull racism, homophobia, transphobia, bigotry, misogyny, or some -ism or -phobia that they are the victim of pic.twitter.com/ftsQK2thHR
I can’t imagine seeing someone giggling in nature and making it about negative and about my own issues. This is some brokenness. Wew lord.
