‘A certified lover's boy’: Internet trolls Drake over chain featuring 42 diamond engagement rings

LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: A whopping 351.38 carats of diamonds make up Drake's most recent piece of jewelry, called "Previous Engagements." The chain, which includes 42 diamond engagement rings for all the times he thought about proposing but never did, was revealed on jeweler Alex Moss's Instagram on Tuesday, December 13.

The jeweler uploaded a video of the magnificent piece from various viewpoints with a voiceover explaining its creation and significance. "Bordering the impossible. An expedition spanning 14 months, every diamond hand selected, inspected to only suit perfection," the female voiceover states, as per PEOPLE.

The video gives an in-depth view of the 42 diamonds. The diamonds were set in 18K white gold to create this massive work of art. The voice-over ended saying, "Each stone meticulously set, utilizing the eagle claw technique." The jeweler also added a caption to the video that read, "New piece titled 'Previous Engagements' for all the times he thought about it but never did it. 42 engagement rings, 351.38 carats in diamonds."

Twitter was soon filled more than "42" comments trolling Drake. A person wrote on Twitter, "I guess you can say he’s a CERTIFIED LOVER BOY." Another user wrote, "21 x 2 = 42." One user wrote, "Drake had 42 wives?? is he amish or whatever its called." Another said, "You're late, he already gifted it to 21 savage." One user tweeted, "If Drake wasn’t famous, he’d just be known as a weirdo." One user quipped, "41 of them were meant for Rih" "Drake the type of," penned one user.
