What is the plot of 'Dragons of Wonderhatch'?

'Dragons of Wonderhatch' centers around Nagi who has a unique ability -- sound-color synesthesia -- that allows her to see colors when she hears certain sounds. A misfit for most of her formative years Nagi has always harbored the dream of being able to fly. Nagi meets another outcast Thaim, from the world Upananta. Thaim, however, has what's considered a disability on his world, he's unable to hear the voices of the dragons that inhabit his land. The duo forms a bond that transcends tradition and the conservative restraints of two worlds to gain a deeper understanding of the magical mystery of life and, well, dragons.

Is 'Dragons of Wonderhatch' worth watching?

How the anime-live action hybrid pans out will be interesting to watch. It does have some serious pedigree in the production and CGI department and if the young cast can match that then there's no reason Disney can't have a winner on its hands. Only time will tell.
