The clip spread online, and Walsh later stepped away from Cameo. A message on his profile said he was taking a break after a video went viral and "got me in trouble." He later explained that he had been speaking off the cuff and apologized, saying, “I don’t have any official information to announce, and I’m sorry for creating confusion for the production and the fans.”
Both messages have since disappeared from his profile. The episode count is unusual for 'Heated Rivalry,' as creator Jacob Tierney has previously said he prefers keeping the show to six episodes per season. He told the Los Angeles Times that he would rather keep the story tight than add episodes without enough material to support them.
Walsh's comment has led fans to several theories. One possibility is that the production is filming Season 2 and Season 3 together.
