'Down to Earth with Zac Efron': Bearded, shirtless Zac has fans binging on Netflix's adventure show
Zac Efron has been an outdoorsman and that's exactly why him opting to star in a nature-oriented series like 'Down To Earth With Zac Efron' is not a surprising move.
The show stays true to the trailer (that was released weeks ago) and keeps its focus intact on water, food and energy, and how best mankind can preserve it. But he's not alone on this journey and has wellness expert Darin Olien to keep him company, and together they find ways to adopt sustainable living. While Darin is more of an exotic food hunter, Zac's interests lie in the adventures that the wild has to offer. And with their forces combined, one can only expect binge-worthy content.
Interestingly, this is not the first time that Zac has willfully starred in a show that has been shot documentary style and has its roots in the wild. He executive-produced and featured in a Quibi special 'Killing Zac Efron', which also put him in the hospital. He was diagnosed with a bacterial infection but was able to bounce back quickly. Prior to that, he explored the wild in 'Wild with Bear Grylls'.
Clearly, he has a career path cut out for him in case he ever decides to quit acting. Speaking to Variety about his choice of shows, he had said: "I tend to thrive under extreme circumstances and seek out opportunities that challenge me on every level," and added: "I am excited to explore any uncharted territory and discover what unexpected adventure awaits!"
Meanwhile, fans are in awe of how Zac looks, and for some that is the only reason why they are hooked on to 'Down To Earth With Zac Efron'.
