'Double Shot At Love': Pauly and Nikki kiss at his DJ gig, will they give their relationship a second chance?
The latest season of the show saw awkwardness filling the room whenever Pauly D and Nikki Hall were together, but things seem to take a different turn lately. After weeks of not talking to each other, Nikki finally decided to put her guard down and talk to Pauly. She admitted that their breakup was heartbreaking for her and added that she was finding it hard to move on.
Nikki had been the finalist on the first season and when everyone was convinced Pauly would choose her, he decided not to move forward with the relationship and she was sent home. After this experience, the two finally managed to come clean about the feelings they had and decided to start their friendship on a fresh page. In the latest episode (July 23), Mike Sorrentino and his wife, Lauren Pesce, decided to join the cast as Pauly performs a DJ gig. Pauly had opened up about his situation with Nikki and admitted that certain things were confusing about their relationship. Pauly wanted to find out if Nikki was ready to be friends or she still had some feelings for him.
Lauren decided to take the lead on this matter to find out what is going on in her mind. She knew that the only way to make Nikki talk would be by pulling her aside and finding out what was she thinking. Lauren asked Nikki if she still had feelings for Pauly. While the question surprised Nikki, she decided to break her silence and admitted that she still cared about him. Lauren tried to explain that Pauly had questions about his relationship and wanted to make sure that they were on the same page.
Speaking to the camera, Nikki admitted that even though they didn't end up together, she never stopped caring about him. Lauren told Nikki to be open to Pauly and tell him exactly what she was feeling. Nikki decided to take her advice and went to the stage while he performed. The two came closer and before anyone could realize what was happening, Pauly and Nikki made out.
Vinny Guadagnino did not think it was a good idea because Nikki had always wanted to be with him. He thought it would be a mistake because the two are on different pages when it comes to relationships. Meanwhile, Nikki confessed on the camera that she wanted to be Pauly's girlfriend. However, he was not feeling the same. He admitted that it was a kiss and he did not want to get into a relationship. Pauly hoped that he could draw a line and not overstep it, but will this break Nikki's heart for the second time?
