Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have been told that they will have to figure out how to fund their own security bill after settling in LA, California.

POTUS Donald Trump announced that the USA would not be taking on the couple's $24 million security bill after they stepped down as senior members of the royal family. Trump took to Twitter to share, "I am a great friend and admirer of the Queen & the United Kingdom. It was reported that Harry and Meghan, who left the Kingdom, would reside permanently in Canada. Now they have left Canada for the U.S. however, the U.S. will not pay for their security protection. They must pay!"

A source close to the pair shared, "The Duke and Duchess of Sussex have no plans to ask the US government for security resources."

"Privately funded security arrangements have been made," the Sun reports. The news follows that of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle leaving their borrowed mansion at Vancouver Island in Canada and relocating to the USA where Meghan's mother, Doria Ragland, lives.

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have both been very vocal about their dislike for Trump in the past. Meghan had snubbed the US president at a Buckingham Palace last year while Harry had recently claimed that Trump has "blood on his hands" for his views on climate change.

Harry had made the remarks while he was duped by Russian pranksters who posed as climate change activist Greta Thunberg and her father Svante during a phone call. We had previously reported that Harry was also tricked into talking about 'Megxit' during the call.

Harry said that he was 'completely separate' from the royal family and had chosen to step back from royal life in order to protect his son. Harry also spoke about climate change, Trump and Prince Andrew. While speaking about Trump, Harry said, "I think the mere fact that Donald Trump is pushing the coal industry is so big, he has blood on his hands."

"It is because the effect that has on the climate and the island nations far, far away, again out of sight out of mind. But we've visited those places and I'm sure you have as well. People's lives have been completely destroyed. People are dying every single month by some form of natural disaster created from this huge change in our climate," he had said.

Starting Tuesday, March 31, Harry and Meghan will no longer be senior members of the royal family and will not be allowed to use their HRH titles. Both the UK and the US have had a longtime reciprocal agreement with regards to bodyguards protecting diplomats and members of the royal family.

Trump's secret service agents would be allowed to carry their own weapons on his state visit and the Queen and Prince Charles's bodyguards would be able to do the same on official trips to America. Harry's exit from the royal family means that he will no longer be considered as an "international protected person", hence he does not fall under the purview of the same rules.
