President Donald Trump's hospital joyride and strange maniac tweets have left members of his own family freaked out. Trump's decision to take a leave from Walter Reed National Military Medical Center in his motorcade so that he could wave "hello" to his fans has left everyone shocked, including his family. Sources have revealed that the POTUS' son, Donald Trump Jr, is very upset about what his father did.

Trump had wanted to drive around the medical facility with the secret service while being infected with Covid-19. According to Vanity Fair, a source shared, "Don Jr thinks Trump is acting crazy." The stunt also left medical experts shocked and outraged. Sources shared that Don Jr told friends how he had tried lobbying Ivanka Trump, Eric Trump and Jared Kushner to convince the president that he needs to stop acting unstable. "Don Jr has said he wants to stage an intervention, but Jared and Ivanka keep telling Trump how great he’s doing," an insider revealed. It is also reported that Don Jr is hesitant to confront his father on his own. The source continued, "Don said, ‘I’m not going to be the only one to tell him he’s acting crazy.'" However, the family is in agreement over Trump's manic tweets on early Monday, October 5, morning.

Trump had taken to the social media platform to post more than a dozen tweets in all caps with the family desperate to get him to stop. A source revealed, "They’re all worried. They’ve tried to get him to stop tweeting." The first family's concern can raise questions about his fitness for office. Medical experts say Trump has been prescribed drugs that can impair and affect his cognitive function. A New York Times report stated that Trump is reportedly taking dexamethasone which is known to "affect mood, causing euphoria or a general happiness".

Many social media users were in agreement with Don Jr. One such user shared, "Don Jr. as the voice of reason?!? I sure as hell did not have that on my bingo card." Another added, "He's just now noticing that daddy is crazy? Better late than never I suppose. Oh hey can somebody please get the nuclear football!?" "When Don Jr is the voice of reason. LOL," yet another user added.

We had earlier reported how Trump's wife, Melania, decided to do the sensible thing and isolate herself in the White House and even refused to visit the POTUS to limit potentially exposing the secret service to the disease. A White House official told NBC News' Peter Alexander that the FLOTUS would not leave her isolation in the White House residence to visit her husband because "she has COVID" and "that would expose the agents who would drive her there and the medical staff who would walk her up to him".

Trump had earlier taken to Twitter to thank doctors and staff at Walter Reed for treating him and he also announced that he was about to "make a little surprise visit" outside to greet supporters. “We're going to pay a little surprise to some of the great patriots that we have out on the street, and they've been out there for a long time and they've got Trump flags and they love our country,” Trump said.

The POTUS was slammed across social media for his reckless decision. Chief of disaster medicine at George Washington University, Dr James Phillips, wrote, "Every single person in the vehicle during that completely unnecessary Presidential 'drive-by' just now has to be quarantined for 14 days. They might get sick. They may die. For political theater. Commanded by Trump to put their lives at risk for theater. This is insanity."
