How did Dolph Lundgren meet Emma Krokdal?

Lundgren met Krokdal at Equinox in West Hollywood. He said, "She looked at me for a second, I could kind of tell that it was kind of mutual to some extent and we became friends first it was nothing romantic for a while we just trained together."

How did Dolph Lundgren address the age gap?

Regarding the age gap, Lungren said, "The age difference... it's quite severe but... I think you know I'm lucky one way because I'm in show business I deal with young people all the time. I work out I don't feel that old. I feel like Emma is very mature for her age, for sure. She's had an interesting life. She came over here from a small town in Norway."

Lundgren continued, "She was married here and she went through a difficult divorce and went through a lot of stuff that most young people her age don't have to deal with. So she's quite mature and at the same time, I think I'm quite youthful. But you know, I've been with people that are twice her age [who are] less mature than she is."

"How old was [Albert] Einstein when he wrote the Theory of Relativity?" Lundgren added when talking about his engagement to Krokdal. "He was in his early twenties. They don't have as much life experience, but it doesn't mean you can't relate to them."

'She makes it worth it'

In the interview with Bensinger, Lundgren said, "She's been everything, she's been supportive... we've been lovers but she's been a partner. She's turned out to be a very clever person in filmmaking. I produce and direct movies and she produced... one film with me now and we're doing the second.

Lundgren added, "Believe me I felt very depressed a lot of times and I've been fighting that... what am I doing... how is it going to end up... is it worth it but you know she makes it worth it." In June 2020, Lundgren and Krokdal announced their engagement on Instagram with a picture of his future wife flashing her engagement ring.

Why has Dolph Lundgren not yet married Emma Krokdal?

Lundgren revealed to People at the 'Minions: The Rise of Gru' Los Angeles premiere last year that the Covid-19 outbreak had forced him to postpone his plans to marry Krokdal. "It's just because we lost two years," he said at the time. Lundgren added, "So hopefully next year, we're gonna go to Scandinavia, and you can't do it in the winter or you'll be in the middle of a snowstorm. So hopefully we'll do it maybe next spring or something in Norway or Sweden."
