Doja Cat wraps herself in 30K red Swarovski crystals for Paris Fashion Week, trolls say ‘Gaga did it better’

It took almost five hours to hand-place the crystals for Doja Cat's stunning appearance at the Paris Fashion Week

PARIS, FRANCE: Doja Cat made heads turn at the Schiaparelli show of Paris Fashion Week in an all-new look. Sparkling in red, the singer stepped out in 30K hand-placed crystals along with red silk faille bustier and a hand-knit skirt of lacquered wooden beads that complemented with l'œil toe boots.

While the 'Need to Know' singer managed to stand out in the crowd, social media seemed to be unimpressed with her over-the-top look. Earlier, Kylie Jenner was also trolled online for her attire as she went out wearing a big lion head attached to her black outfit. Many of the users were angry as they thought the outfit promoted animal hunting.

Who is the designer of Doja Cat's 'inferno' look?

Doja Cat's 'inferno' look was designed by celebrity makeup artist Pat McGrath along with designer Daniel Roseberry. McGrath wrote on Instagram, "Such a pleasure working with the gorgeous @DojaCat and the amazing @DanielRoseberry on the ‘Doja’s Inferno’ look for @Schiaparelli’s FW23 Haute Couture collection. Doja’s sublime patience during the 4 hours and 58 minutes it took to create the look with #TeamPatMcGrath, which was covered in over 30,000 hand-applied @swarovski Crystals, was inspiring. The final product was a magical, mesmerising masterpiece of sparkling brilliance. xx." Meanwhile, Roseberry wrote, @dojacat in head to toe @schiaparelli and the GENIUS of @patmcgrathreal. 30000 @swarovski crystals ❤️‍🔥❤️‍🔥❤️‍🔥❤️‍🔥." 

The outfit took almost five hours to bring the look to perfection. 'The lengths people go for attention'

Meanwhile, the Internet quickly reacted to her look at the Paris Fashion Week. A user wrote, "My fingers after I eat hot Cheetos." Another claimed,  "My hand after I struggle to open a ketchup packet and it busts open everywhere." A user added, "exhoing that we need a wealth tax." A user opined, "The lengths people go for attention." "Gaga did it better.," wrote a user. "This is not giving… at all just bc it took five hours of MUA doesn’t mean it’s amazing. It’s lacking… a lot. And not in a cool way IMO," stated another.

A user explained, "Me: I think my period is about to finish The Tampon I Just Pulled Out." "Looks like pater damiaan," added a user. Another trolled, "my pimple on picture day." "Lord what kind of demonic hell is this!," said a user. Another  wondered, "Imagine getting home and just wanting to go to bed but then realising you have all this on you and now have to spend 17 hours getting it off or sleep on a bed of rocks." A user noted, "As fan or no fan this looks terrible I don’t even know what fashion is anymore if this is it when America is doomed on another department," while another claimed, "my body itches when i look at this."
