In a hilarious turn of events, a man who goes by @infared_savage on TikTok posted his experience of being bamboozled after buying a puppy online which he alleges is actually a hyena. In the two-minute video, which has garnered over 3 million views, the man explains how he came across an online post from a "Bully breeder" looking to sell a supposed American Bully.

The TikToker explains he instantly fell in love with the photos of the dog's parents. The user explains he was so eager to buy the pup that he even put down a deposit to secure the four-legged animal. However, when the overly excited man met his new best friend, he was taken aback by a state of confusion. He noticed something weird about the four-legged friend and asked the seller, "Did you clip the ears or something? Are you sure that’s a dog? That s**t looks like a wombat?”

'Not just any ole animal laugh. It was humanly!'

The alleged "Bully breeder” started to play coy claiming, “It’s a Bully man. I got the mom and dad out in the back.” The pup seller proceeded to show the buyer the "parents" to sell his case, but anyhow the pup showed no similarities to his parents. “I’m looking at them and I’m looking at my puppy,” the bewildered buyer said of the experience. “This dude gathered up all the puppies … not puppies, orangutan-lizard-foxes all together and they’re laughing, it sounds like a bunch of h**s gossiping,” he alleges on TikTok.

Despite his confusion, the dog owner proceeds to name the dog "Nina," trying to convince himself that “the puppy is going to grow up and it’s going to look like” the two grown dogs he’d been told were its parents. However, things turned ugly when the man allegedly called out to his new friend. “‘Come here, Nina.’ That damn dog looked at me and laughed,” he said. “I was so scared, wondering what the f**k is he laughing for, and not just any ole animal laugh. It was humanly.”

The dog owner even imitates the dog's laugh in the video which sounded similar to that of a hyena or Scooby-Doo. The seller relentlessly tries to dismiss the man's concern, determining to complete his sale alleging the dog “will get over that phase, it’s a Bully.” The hyena-like dog “gave one big laugh and bit me on my leg, hard as hell, bro,” the man claimed. “I didn’t know dogs had crack babies. This is exactly what a crack baby dog would look like.”

'This story is 10 times funnier after looking up how a hyena laughs!'

The viral media had internet users laughing to tears. A user commented, “This whole thing had me cackling like a damn hyena." “This story is 10 times funnier after looking up how a hyena laughs😭😭😂😂😂,” another added, as per New York Post. Few users expressed their concern for the man alleging him to beware. “Hyenas laugh when they’re threatened or under attack so I’d BE VERY CAREFULLLL😳,” said a TikToker. Another user wanted to know if the man bought the dog home saying, “You still got the hyena?”
