Many such instances of animal cruelty
On August 11 2022, Robert William Garon, a 23-year-old man, was arrested for brutally abusing a five-month-old Goldendoodle, which caused the animal's death in Florida. He was charged with animal cruelty and his bail was set at $150,000. "This is one of the worst cases of animal abuse we’ve seen," the sheriff said in a statement during the incident. "No animal should ever have to suffer such a death."
In January 2023, Florida man Lisandro Arellano was arrested for dragging a French bulldog behind his truck. Thankfully, the dog named Blanco survived the incident with only minor body scrapes thanks to medical attention. According to investigation by police, Arellano wasn't the dog's owner. Nonetheless, a family member trusted him to monitor their dog. At the time of the event, he claimed to be Blanco's owner and to be in charge of her. Blanco was cruelly transported by the accused in the bed of his truck.
