Duane Chapman aka Dog the Bounty Hunter has been sued for not making monthly payments on the house that he bought with his late wife Beth. He has been struggling with debt for sometime now. According to reports, he is being sued for over $100,000 in house debts and this comes after Chapman lost his wife to cancer last year.

According to The Sun, Chapman, 67, and his wife were sued on December 26, 2018, for not making repayments on the house. The couple had reportedly failed to make monthly payments on a Hawaii mansion they bought for $2,240,000 in 2015. It was reported that the owners, Karen and Craig Mills, were not happy about the coupled defaulting on their payments.

The official court papers according to The Sun reads, "As of November 27, 2018, there was an outstanding balance due of $109,328.69 for unpaid monthly payments, and reimbursement for utilities, real property taxes and insurance premiums." It was also claimed by the plaintiffs that the duo "failed and refused to pay the amounts due". After the passing of Beth in June 2019, there was a settlement conference held on February 10 but there has been no word of a settlement being reached.

The publication said that Chapman is due to be deposed on March 13, 2020, marking this another event in a slew of events highlighting the bounty hunter's debts and financial grievances. Last week, it was reportedly said that Beth's estate is being sued for unpaid credit card bills along with a demand of $73,860.55 by Hawaiian Airlines World Elite MasterCard.

After his wife lost her battle with throat cancer, Chapman was reportedly in a riff with his family after he got engaged to Moon Angell, his late wife's friend. Angell was not only a bridesmaid at Chapman and Beth's wedding but she also dated one of Chapman's sons. Chapman, however, has reportedly reconciled with his family and Moon has moved out of the hunter's home.

Chapman and Beth married in 2006 and they have two children, Bonnie and Garry. Chapman has 13 children from previous marriages and has also adopted Beth's daughter Cecily.
