GREENVILLE, NORTH CAROLINA: As a content creator, MrBeast has spoken about the challenges he faces and said that he must always be "on guard" when in the public spotlight. Jimmy Donaldson, better known as MrBeast has the most subscribers out of all individual content creators on YouTube, with millions of fans who follow his every action.

Recently, MrBeast spoke candidly to YouTubers Colin and Samir on their show, explaining some of the difficulties he faced as a result of his sudden ascent to prominence. MrBeast in particular said that he "can't be in large crowds" or partake in other casual public activities without someone recording and monitoring him. He talked about how "crazy" people go when they see him outside, not allowing him to partake in any recreational activities in peace.

'I've got to have security at my house'

MrBeast said, “I leave these walls [of the studio] and it’s just crazy. I can’t watch a movie [at the cinemas] unless I buy every ticket in the movie or people are just going to film me the whole time.”

He said, "I've [got to have] security at my house," claiming that his reputation for possessing big quantities of money has even led to break-ins at his residence.

In spite of this, MrBeast has stated that he "signed up" for the life of a content creator.

‘I love my fans, I love you guys’

MrBeast stated, “No one’s forcing me to do it; I love my fans, I love you guys. So like, I don’t want to sound like I’m complaining and just miserable.”

MrBeast does, however, agree that it requires a "specific" kind of person to lead a media organization. This is due to the fact that wherever he goes, there are constantly others watching what he does and psychoanalyzing his conduct, so he has to be on high alert at all times.

“No matter where I go, you’re always on. If I mess up, someone’s always filming me when I’m in public,” he explained.

MrBeast spoke with Colin and Samir about the pressure on him to produce content and his desire for other producers to quit "stealing" his ideas.
