‘Disrespectful’: Sophie Lloyd furious at fans blaming her for Machine Gun Kelly-Megan Fox split
LONDON, ENGLAND: The guitarist for Machine Gun Kelly, Sophie Lloyd, has responded to rumors that she was involved in the 32-year-old rapper's alleged split with fiancee Megan Fox. The skilled musician, 26, reportedly denounced the "merciless" and "disrespectful" rumors.
The guitarist responded in a statement provided by her management group saying, "Sophie Lloyd is a professional, accomplished musician who has been needlessly dragged into the media based off of meritless accusations made by social media," reported Page Six. The statement added, "Any suggestion that she has ever acted in an unprofessional manner or stepped out of her relationship are untrue. It's disrespectful to her as a female artist and poor journalism and social commentary to be reporting anything else."

Lloyd performed guitar with MGK on February 11
Last year, Lloyd joined the 32-year-old rockstar's 'Mainstream Sellout' tour, which began in June and ended in October. She frequently posted pictures of MGK and other band members as well as crew personnel on her Instagram feed, where she extensively recorded her time on tour. The singer of 'Bloody Valentine' and Lloyd have both performed together at various gatherings and festivals. Most recently, she performed guitar with MGK on February 11 at Drake's celebrity-studded Super Bowl party in Arizona, where Fox was also present.
'He probably got with Sophie'
During the Super Bowl 2023 weekend, Fox ignited rumors when she uploaded a mysterious Instagram message, deleted all images of her fiance from her profile, and ultimately deactivated her account. Fans instantly theorized that Fox's actions suggested MGK had cheated on her, with some blaming Lloyd.

In response to someone who commented on Fox's post saying, "He probably got with Sophie," the actress said, "Maybe I got with Sophie." Whilst, Lloyd and her partner Christopher Painter have been together for more than five years and they frequently post adoring messages to one another on social media. In addition, he is frequently caught supporting Lloyd when she tours with MGK whose real name is Colson Baker.
