‘Wanted to talk about your double chin’: Lady Gaga's NECK subject of weird texts between two cosmetic surgeons
Two cosmetic surgeons allegedly plotted how they might operate on Lady Gaga after one of them became obsessed with the singer's "double chin." Doctors Daniel Aronov and Daniel Lanzer appear to have discussed how the pop sensation "needed liposuction on her neck" in WhatsApp text exchanges.
The publicity-hungry doctors, whose TikTok videos made them TikTok superstars with over 18 million followers, appeared to ponder doing the work for free. Dr Aronov is said to have posted in the leaked communications, "Is it wrong that all I can think about during my inflight entertainment is how much I’d love to give Lady Gaga neck lipo?"

The other doctor is the owner of the contentious Daniel Lanzer Clinics, which is now under investigation for their cosmetic surgery practises. "Write to her. Free," his alleged reply read. However, in the group communications, which were reportedly shared by the duo with up to 65 physicians and nurses, Dr Aronov stated he didn't know how to bring up the matter without offending her.
According to the Sydney Morning Herald, he allegedly inquired via WhatsApp chats, "How do I word it so it’s not outrageously offensive? 'Hey Lady Gaga. Big fan. Can I call you lady? Just wanted to talk to you about your double chin…'" It's unclear if the surgeons followed up on their chat with the actress. In the midst of an inquiry into his clinics, Dr Lanzer relinquished his medical licence last December.
The websites for his clinics now state that Dr. Lanzer has 'retired,' and that the sites are 'currently under review,' but they still include treatment specifics and an enquiry form. A staggering 540 former patients have filed a class action lawsuit against Daniel Lanzer Clinics, alleging negligence. Dr Aronov's practice too has since been restricted, barring him from practising cosmetic surgery and limiting him to GP work under supervision. He was also ordered to delete all medical-related content from his social media profiles. A disciplinary panel heard how he had previously delivered a presentation at a medical conference titled ''How to use evidence based medicine in clinical practice like a rockstar." Following 21 complaints from 17 patients, three colleagues, and the NSW Health Complaints Commission, the Medical Board of Australia has opened an inquiry into Dr Aronov. In June, the Victorian Civil and Administrative Tribunal denied Dr Aronov's request to return to the operating room as a "surgical assistant." The "Lady Gaga texts" are not going to be helping either doctor's case.
