Dillon Danis sets sights on UFC belt ahead of potential matches with Jake Paul or KSI: 'MMA is my game'
CLEVELAND, OHIO: Dillon Danis has expressed his strong disapproval of influencer boxer Logan Paul and has stated that he intends to engage in just one more bout after his recent foray into the sport.
As a longtime associate of Conor McGregor, Danis is scheduled to make his MMA debut against Paul on the undercard of the KSI vs Tommy Fury event in Manchester on October 14.
Significantly, Dillon Danis envisions taking on at least one more YouTuber-turned-boxer, aiming to secure a substantial financial gain before pursuing his true aspiration of achieving fame in MMA.
Dillon Danis aims to become UFC champion ahead of his fight with Logan Paul
During an interview with Gareth A Davies from talkSPORT Boxing, Dillon Danis said, “I want to be UFC champion. But if Jake [Paul] offers me a big bag after this fight or KSI…I would imagine if I knocked out Logan, Jake is going to want to fight me or KSI, one of them.”
At 30 years old, Dillon Danis does not see a bright future for himself in boxing. He believes that once his fighting career comes to a finale, defeating Paul wouldn't rank high on his list of achievements as he doesn't derive enjoyment from the sport.
“I’m not trying to box. MMA is my game. The money is obviously good in this, I can’t lie,” Danis added.
He further said, “When I’m on my deathbed and I’m talking to my son, I’m not going to be telling him how I beat Logan Paul. I’m going to be telling him about my world championships and UFC championships. Who the f*** cares about Logan Paul?”

Should Logan Paul be unable to recuperate in time for the upcoming Saturday night match, Jake Paul is prepared to take his place and confront Dillon Danis.
During a recent altercation, Danis struck Logan with a microphone, causing a cut around Logan's eye during the KSI vs Tommy Fury press conference.
Logan was also struck by a bottle seemingly thrown by a member of Danis’ team in the aftermath and was seen bleeding from his cheek as security escorted him off stage.
The cut raised worries that Saturday's bout might be canceled, especially when Danis was spotted engaging in a face-off with Mike Perry, a potential substitute opponent for the weekend.
Paul posted a picture that displayed a noticeable cut and swelling on his right cheek but affirmed that the fight will proceed as scheduled.
Nonetheless, Jake, who will be present at the Manchester event, asserted his readiness to step in if required.
In an Instagram story he wrote, "I will always have my brother’s back. I chose not to respond to the puppet’s countless tweets as it would only amplify his harassment, as per Metro.
He concluded, "But make no mistake, if Logan needed me to step in, I would take great joy in knocking that maggot out. See you soon."
