Son Naeun fans claim that the former Apink member had gotten modifications done to her face after her new video for Cosmopolitan Korea was released

From the time Naeun (Son Na Eun, Son Na-eun) departed from the IST Entertainment girl group Apink, she has been getting a lot of hate online which is why a new video from Naeun for Cosmopolitan Korea did not go unnoticed. While there are no qualms about the fact that K-pop idols are scrutinized over anything and everything they do leading them to be subjected to loads and loads of hate comments, a new plastic surgery allegation is definitely something that takes the cake.

In her career as an idol, the former Apink member was reported to get facial modifications done several times but given that such procedures are fairly common in South Korea, Naeun had never attested to having plastic surgery before. Son Naeun recently departed from the IST Entertainment girl group Apink which debuted in 2011. The reason for Naeun's departure from Apink was revealed to be scheduling conflicts, all thanks to her flourishing solo career as an actress. But now it seems like the past few years have garnered the idol-turned-actress a lot more attention over her facial features. Naeun debuted as the center of Apink and flaunted a petite round face but over the last few years, her facial features matured but also turned into something which made her seem way older than she is.

Son Naeun gets criticized for plastic surgery again

Over her many years in the industry, Son Naeun of Apink received a lot of attention for the way her visuals had been changing over the last few years. From the offset, there have been speculations that Naeun's present face is all thanks to the marvels of medical genius and plastic surgery while it was alleged that she had received multiple procedures to change her looks and give them a complete 360 makeover.

A user made a post on a community website online stating that Naeun's new facial features made it seem like she had gotten another plastic surgery done. The user claims that the video for Cosmopolitan Korea shows the former idol's face to seem concave and protruding outwards making it seem like she was constantly chewing on something. OP said, "That lump on her cheek that is popping out. It's been there since the time people started speculating that Na-eun got plastic surgery but it's still there. Even before, people said that it looks like she's eating candy."

'She is 28. Why would she get work done?'

Fans are somewhat agreeing with the fact that Son Na Eun's face has changed over the years but are okay with the celebrity doing what she feels like with her own body. One fan said, "I know it sounds disrespectful, but I genuinely felt like she was more beautiful before the surgery (not that she isn't now). She was already known for her looks so idk why she felt the need to "improve" them with surgery."

One fan responded, "She probably got the surgery cause of folk like u, always commenting on other folks looks. so sad." One more fan clapped back, "And why was she KNOWN for her looks? That mindset that women have to look pretty is a misogynistic mindset."

One fan alleged, "This is a bad Botox job. Sadly female celebrities feel the pressure of being forever young, I remember that a 24 year old goo Hara confessed of having Botox treatments, at just 24. Only she knew at what age she started."

Another fan said, "I'll keep my opinions to myself as it's her body and her choice. But people have a right to their own opinions, especially in regards to public figures who depend on fans and their influence/money to fund their careers. She obviously looks very different, and regardless of whether or not people think it's a good or a bad thing, I just hope she's sincerely happy with the choices she's made since she cannot undo them. The pressure of perfection is so intense in the entertainment industry, I can't imagine how these people must feel when they make decisions to go under the knife, especially multiple times."

One more fan said, "28 is young, i don't see why she would need or want to get work done... she has some terrible friends around her." One more fan added, "Looks like she got botox for her smile lines. that needs to be put around them so on the sides of the cheek and at it's high point, causing the face to appear swollen or puffy."

One fan claimed, "Na eun can do anything she wants on her face. She's still very pretty. Idk, just shut up people and use your time to love yourself and empower others." One fan said, "And they need to keep their opinions to themselves." A fan responded, "People can be concerned. These procedures messing with your face aren't a joke and can leave you with damage escpially as they can go wrong. Maybe if Koreans stopped going on about looks idols wouldn't feel they have to look perfect." One more fan said, "Its very harsh to say that but as a long time apink fan from their debut i have to sadly say i agree.. but she still looks great."
