LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Kody Brown's ex-wife Christine Brown recently got engaged to her boyfriend David Woolley after they made their relationship official in February 2023. Christine, who parted ways from Kody last year, kept her engagement a secret and broke the internet with the announcement.
However, Meri Brown indirectly took a jab at her ex-husband Kody in a social media post amid the engagement announcement. Notably, Christine seemingly didn't share the happy news with Kody's other wives, Janelle, Robyn, and Meri, as the 'Sisters Wives' stars learned about the engagement online.

The reality star shared a quote by Gina Carey which reads, "A strong woman looks a challenge in the eye and gives it a wink." However, Kody is yet to respond to Meri's subtle troll. The post comes soon after Christine's engagement.
Meri's latest was allegedly an indirect attack on Kody, with whom the reality star got divorced in January 2023. Meri was the first wife of Kody and they have a son named Leon Brown, 27, together. Meanwhile, Christine called off her 25-year-old marriage with Kody in November 2021. Christine and Kody have six children together -- daughters Aspyn, Mykelti, Gwendlyn, Ysabel, Truely, and a son named Paedon.

However, Meri tried to save their friendship and Christine's relationship with Kody before they split in 2021. Meanwhile, soon after her breakup, Christine noted that hadn't spoken to Meri since relocating to Utah. While Meri revealed during an episode that she felt betrayed after Christine left the family, Christine noted that she and Meri tried to make amends in Vegas. But things didn't go as expected and Christine chose to end the friendship because she felt it was no longer "safe".
