LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: While Jack Nicholson’s memorable visit to witness the Los Angeles Lakers take on Memphis Grizzlies on the playoff Game 6 pleasantly surprised his fans, the person accompanying the three times Oscar winner to the game equally turned heads. As the legendary supporter for the LA Lakers makes his courtside visit “first time since last season’s opening night,” Nicholson was accompanied by a man who many of the viewers thought to be his ‘The Departed’ co-star Leonardo DiCaprio.

However, to the fans of the actor’s disappointment, it was not the ‘Titanic’ star, but Nicholson’s son, the 'Borderline' actor, Ray. In a black suit, dark cap and sunglasses, the 'Out of the Blue' star was indeed cutting a dashing figure during the match. However, his sartorial choices left many fans stunned and ask, was the legendary actor’s none other than Hollywood’s current Lothario?

The two Oscar winners’ colorful love-life

While the ‘Romeo + Juliet’ star and Jack Nicholson’s physical similarity cannot be missed, the two Oscar winners share several other similarities too, one being the infamous lover of Hollywood. While Leonardo DiCaprio is still enjoying the status of Hollywood’s Lothario, ‘Something’s Gotta Give’ star has left his lover boy days behind, precisely in 2004, as reported by Gawker.

Nicholson boasts an enviable list of glamorous models and actresses who he dated including Candice Bergen, Anjelica Huston, Angie Everhart, Lara Flynn Boyle, and Sonja Morgan (according to her). As per the news outlet, Nicholson checked a bit after Kate Moss in 2004. However, despite dating a string of A-listers, ‘A Few Good Men’ star was married only once - to the ‘Tower of London’ actress Sandra Knight from 1962-1968. They have a daughter together, Jennifer Nicholson. 

Leonardo DiCaprio, too, has a remarkable list of women who he has dated. While his recent longest relationship was with the model Camila Morrone with whom he was for five years, ‘The Great Gatsby’ star has also reportedly been linked with supermodel Gigi Hadid. ‘The Wolf of Wall Street’ star has also been linked with Nina Agdal, Rihanna, Kelly Rohrbach, Toni Garrn, Miranda Kerr, Erin Heatherton among others. DiCaprio also seemed to have been in a romance of short duration with Blake Lively in 2011, according to Elle. 

'One of the most memorable moments of my life'

Similarities do not end here as Jack Nicholson and Leonardo DiCaprio indeed starred together in Martin Scorsese’s 2006 film ‘The Departed’ that also starred Matt Damon in it. The movie revolves around the tale of an undercover police officer and a spy in the force who both try to find each other. Talking about working with Nicholson in the film, DiCaprio said, "There were a number of different scenes where I had no idea what was going to happen," before elaborating, "One scene in particular, we did the scene one way, and I remember Jack speaking to Marty because he said he didn’t feel that he was intimidating enough."

DiCaprio continued, "It was one of the table scenes. It was one of the most memorable moments of my life as far as being an actor is concerned," before adding, "I remember coming into the scene one way and then I came in the next day and the prop guy told me, 'Well, be careful he’s got a fire extinguisher, a gun, some matches, and a bottle of whiskey,'" reports Lad Bible. 

'Is that Dicaprio next to him?'

Noticing the similarities, one fan could not help but ask, "Is that Dicaprio next to him?" To which, another fan commented while agreeing, "I thought it was him also." The third commented with a photo of DiCaprio, "Yeah it automatically reminded of him in this for a millisecond." One even vouched for a biography of Jack Nicholson featuring Leonardo DiCaprio noting their similarities, "#LeonardoDiCaprio #JackNicholson @jamescameron Do an autobiography where Leo plays Jack Nicholson."
