V and Jennie are getting immense hate for their dating rumor with Knetizens demanding that they leave their K-pop groups

SEOUL, SOUTH KOREA: Things are getting messier by the day. The dating rumor of BTS' V and Blackpink's Jennie has returned to the spotlight once more as hacker Gurumiharibo released tons of photos on September 16. Back in May, a different netizen had claimed they had spotted V and Jennie on Jeju Island and shared two photos of the alleged couple in a car. Well, the hacker has released four photos in which V is wearing the same shirt. But fans have tried to debunk it.

In one photo the BTS star is seen kissing Jennie's forehead. Fans had claimed it was photoshopped as there were signs of manipulation and the photo was not clear. The other three photos are crystal clear but neither V nor the Blackpink star's faces are seen as they are wearing hats or looking away from the camera. Well, a fan thinks the two people in the photos are actually V and Jennie cosplayers as they look like the two K-pop idols. A fan created a detailed video to debunk and provide evidence.

Fans try to debunk Jeju photos

OP (original poster) claims the V cosplayer's account is public and the hacker is simply taking his couple photos and editing in V and Jennie's faces. Well, the V-Jennie dating rumor has some fans divided. With dating being considered taboo in K-pop, Knetizens are sending the BTS and Blackpink members hate asking them to leave their groups. This same thing had occurred when Jennie was confirmed to be dating EXO's Kai and the hate comments were probably why they broke up according to fans.

Well, to defend V and Jennie, fans are going out of their way to prove that the photos may be fake. But most international fans do not understand why they are getting hate and feel that if the rumor is true they should be congratulated. However, all fans are in agreement that HYBE and YG should take legal action against the hacker for privacy breaches.

A fan said, "He is taehyung's cosplayer, he follows taehyung's way of dressing and even his voice is very similar to him. The taetaeomega account that was the first to find this evidence has been lost to a mass report by gurumi's minions." One fan tweeted, "Yes! the guy in the photo is real but it's not taehyung but it turns out he is a cosplayer of v. Tae and jennie photo is just edited. Don't believe to much. Please watch this instead if you don't want to believe."

But one fan wrote, "Y’all gonna be harassing a man that has nothing to do with this just because you refuse to believe this could be real. It’s getting ridiculous, if you’re getting so worked up over the idea that your fav could be dating and coming up with 100 excuses to prove they’re not,GET HELP." Another fan added, "If taehyung & jennie are really dating, we have no choice but to respect and be happy for the both of them. let us all know our limits. at the end of the day, we are still their fans. i just hope that yg & hybe will do something already to protect their privacy."
