POTOMAC, MARYLAND: Ashley Darby's 35th birthday celebration had music, dancing, good company, and a display of 'Verappetizing-looking food. Also, the party had a revelation: Vernon Davis who not only trained Karen Huger but also flirted with 'The Real Housewives of Potomac' star, Ashley on Instagram.
Karen mentioned on the March 3 episode of the Bravo show, over Ashley's birthday lunch with the girls, that she is starting weight training with Vernon following her little health scare earlier in the season. As the cast expresses curiosity about meeting her trainer and probably setting him up with now-single, Ashley, the 'RHOP' star admits that she is already acquainted with him.
"Vernon and I are friends," says a blushing Ashley.
After getting pressed by the cast to spill the tea on her relationship, she revealed, "So there's nothing that transpired between Vernon and I. But we have flirted. The first time that I met him, I was actually with Michael's at fight night (8–9 years ago)."
Ashley revealed that she then saw Vernon at Karen's party, where he came to her and hugged her. "We just talk on Instagram a little," she adds.
In their confessional, the girls admit they have never seen Ashley blush like that. She tells the girls that she finds him very charming and attractive.
Who is Vernon Davis?
Vernon was a former American football tight end. The fifteen-year NFL veteran was drafted sixth overall by the San Francisco 49ers in 2006 and spent his first 10 seasons with the team.
Midway through his final season in San Francisco, he was moved to the Denver Broncos, where he won Super Bowl 50. He joined his local team, the Washington Redskins, in 2016 and played four seasons before retiring after the 2019-2020 season.
Off the field, Vernon is an aspiring entrepreneur, philanthropist, and actor. Vernon owns several Jamba Juice businesses in northern California.
He also runs his own supplement firm, Timeless. He co-owns Q-Collar Innovations and serves as the marketing adviser for Pescavor Jerky.
In addition, he is a partner in PathWater and RASA. Vernon is also a limited partner at Next Play Capital.
Vernon founded the Vernon Davis Foundation for the Arts in 2012 to encourage art education and appreciation among disadvantaged youngsters. In 2019, VDFA rebranded as the Vernon Davis Foundation, which serves at-risk adolescents of all interests and ethnicities.
Vernon appeared in films such as 'Baywatch', starring Dwayne Johnson and Zac Efron, and 'Hell on the Border'. His newest part will be as the male protagonist in the thriller 'Red Winter'.
Vernon was partnered with Peta Murgatroyd in the 29th season of 'Dancing with the Stars'. They placed eleventh.
Who is 'RHOP's Ashley Darby dating?
Ashley and Luke Gulbranson, star of 'Winter House', met at BravoCon in October 2022. Luke even stated that he wants to include her in 'Summer House'.
Us Weekly stated that the two exchanged numbers. They kept in touch after BravoCon, but the relationship did not work out.
Ashley said after the couple's demise that there was something going on between them, and it was definitely romantic. Throughout their burgeoning affair, Luke did his best to keep up with Ashley's turbulent life, she revealed.
The housewife described him as a "trooper." She also said she met his family and "fell in love with them."
