POTOMAC, MARYLAND: Karen Huger apparently once found another woman in her man's hotel room. In fact, on the February 18 episode of 'The Real Housewives of Potomac', the Bravo star tells an astonishing anecdote about her husband of almost 30 years, Ray Huger.
The cast was on their way to a group trip to the Dominican Republic when Karen narrated her surprising story.
"I want to thank you for bringing us to Casa de Campo," said the 60-year-old, before adding, "I've always wanted to come because Ray comes here every year."
Karen recounted a decades-old event in which she called Ray while he was on a golf vacation overseas. She said, "We were newlyweds. I was on the love bug juice, and my husband annually goes to the DR for his trip to go golfing, and I called."
She then told her co-stars, "Girl, I didn't know what I had married because a girl picked up the phone! She said, 'Hello? Mr. Raymond is not available."
But there's more to this story, as Karen noted, "They all stayed in this villa. You got a butler, you got a cleaning lady. She picked up the phone. That's Ray's story." Nevertheless, not all the 'RHOP' ladies believe Ray's excuse.
As Karen's old foe, Gizelle Bryant, remarked in a confessional, "Maids don't do that. What maid do you know answers the phone? If you're a maid and you answer the phone, please DM me. Ray done pulled the okey-dokey on Karen, and she didn't even know it."
