‘Diablero’ Season 2: Release date, plot, cast, trailer, and all you need to know about this Mexican series

Based on the book ‘El Diablo Me Obligo’ by Francisco Haghenbeck, the horror thriller gained quite a bit of popularity among fans of Elvis Infante and his friend, Father Ramiro Ventura and superhero sidekick, Nancy Gama.

And now, after a long wait, the series is coming with a fresh new season full of new adventures of the trio.

Release Date

‘Diablero’ Season 2 hits Netflix with all eight episodes on Friday, January 31, 2020.

Plot

The plot of ‘Diablero’ follows the journey of a fallen priest, Father Ramiro Ventura, who seeks the assistance and insight of a demon hunter, whom we know as “Diablero” Elvis Infante. The two along with Nancy Gama, a modern-day superhero, join forces to battle the evil. On their adventures together, they deal with strange, horrifying, and impossible events and solve unsolvable issues that could change the face of humanity in a big way. 


The first season ended with the promise of more from these cutting-edge problem solvers of the society. Despite having wrapped up the plot in eight episodes, Season 1 had paved the way for another exciting season ahead.

Cast

All the major cast members from Season 1 will be back for Season 2.
Christopher von Uckermann, Horacio García Rojas, and Giselle Kuri will return in their original roles of the leading trio of the series.

Christopher von Uckermann plays the role of Father Ramiro Ventura. He is a Swedish-Mexican actor known for his work on Mexican television, for shows like ‘Rebelde’, ‘RBD: La Familia’, ‘Kdabra’, and many more.

Horacio Garcia Rojas plays the role of Elvis Infante, the Diablero. He is an actor and producer, known for his work in popular shows like ‘Narcos: Mexico’, ‘Texas Rising’, and ‘Diablero’.

Giselle Kuri plays superhero Nancy Gama. She is a Mexican actor and writer, known for her work in ‘Lady Altagracia’, ‘Le vas a decir?’, and ‘Diablero’.
