Though Dell and Sonya Curry’s loveable marriage is a thing of the past, their craze has apparently not ended yet. The ex power couple ended their relationship last year after releasing a statement via PEOPLE that read, “After exploring a trial separation over the past year and much thoughtful consideration, we have decided to end our marriage. As this comes with a great deal of sadness, our focus and desire is for our family's continued happiness.”

“We are so thankful for all the many blessings and successes! We stay committed to and supportive of our children and grandchildren and will remain on connected paths. We ask that our privacy be respected and prayer for our family as we move forward,” they added, without giving out any details or reason behind their divorce.

But Radar Online, citing court documents, has now claimed that Sonya’s “extramarital affair” was the cause of their split. In the official papers, Dell accused Steph Curry's mother of starting “her extramarital affair” with former NFL star Steven Johnson “during the marriage and prior to the date of separation.” Johnson was a solid player for Virginia Tech from 1984 to 1987 who went on to get selected by New England as a sixth-round pick in the 1988 NFL Draft.

Also, the 57-year-old former professional basketball player’s lawyer said that Sonya “lied to [Dell] each time she cheated on him.” According to a source, “Sonya’s new boyfriend is actually Dell’s college friend and their family is actually close family friends with the Currys. They all knew each other very well.”

But the 56-year-old ex of Dell has dismissed the accusations and claimed that her romance with Johson began only after she separated from her former husband. She also reportedly went on to allege that Dell had several women in his life throughout their over three decade old marriage. “Steph's mom even cited ‘marital misconduct’ as one of the reasons for their divorce,” Radar stated.

This came after last week Dell was seen with a mysterious woman at Game 4. He was there to see his son play but received a lot of backlash online. A sarcastic tweet against the new “pair” read, “Damn Dell Curry hugged up with Marjorie Taylor Greene.” Another comment read, “The downgrade tho I guess he saw what is like out here and went after someone his age.” “Dell Curry's watching Black Excellence happening while being hugged up with a Caucasian woman???” a tweet added.

A user shared, “#NBAPlayoffs Dell Curry with this new woman is not the vibe. Sonya was better.” The second user expressing their shock said, “How is Dell Curry gonna bring this new woman to such an important game. So lame.” The third one tweeted: “Sonya Curry cheated on Dell with that ugly white man and now Dell Curry found a new woman who’s also white lmaoooo.” “Bruh somebody said Dell Curry new woman look like SARA JAY!! IYKYMFK!! 😂😂😂😂😂 ,” the fourth one added.
