Debby Ryan 'broke the internet' with fashion week TikTok video, fans say she single-handedly 'saved 2020'
Debbie Ryan seems to have done the unthinkable. She seems to have saved 2020 with her latest TikTok video that really makes one reconsider if banning the app is the way to go right now.
The 'Insatiable' star who has recently been in the news for getting secretly married to 21 Pilots crooner Josh Dun, just took to TikTok to share what she would wear if she were to play characters from some of pop-culture's most famous titles such as 'Jessie', Bailey Pickett from 'The Suite Life on Deck', and more. And her looks for each of them has pretty much anointed her as the religion for some of her fans.
"What I'd wear to fashion week in," said Ryan's video on TikTok, as she appeared in a series of outfit ensembles for characters she's played in the past, including Patty Bladell from the controversial and critically slammed Netflix rom-com 'Insatiable' and also as Tara Adams on 'Radio Rebel'. The 15-second clip was then shared on Twitter by a fan who captioned it: "Debby Ryan saved 2020." And soon others flocked to the video, sharing it with reactions such as "Debby Ryan is my religion" and "Funny how Debby Ryan broke the internet because of one video."
Another fan noted the power-packed statement Ryan made about her on-screen appearances and tweeted: "She said no one’s going to outdo Debby Ryan doing Debby Ryan, but Debby Ryan." A third fan could simply not believe how identical Ryan's throwback looks were to the original ones from a decade ago. "B***h I didn’t peep the user at first I was like 'she looks exactly like Debby Ryan'. And that last clip...why hasn’t she aged?!" wrote the fan.

Ryan was recently in the buzz after she posted an awareness post on Breonna Taylor's death, aligning the message in a post about turning 27 herself. In an Instagram post from a week ago, Ryan shared: "I turned 27 this summer and Breonna Taylor should have too. This is a solid space to remind you that BREONNA TAYLOR was awoken from a night’s sleep and murdered in March. Her killers Jonathan Mattingly, Myles Cosgrove and Brett Hankison remain free and uncharged!! and only the latter was fired. I feel like one great way to help empower womxn is to them alive — and we can start by not letting people get away with murdering Black womxn. go to JusticeForBreonna.org to keep going harder for Bre."
The message was probably intended to put the attention on Taylor's death at the hands of police officers while she was asleep at home. Sadly, to social media it looked as if "debby ryan literally cannot read a room to save her life. she REALLY just said 'happy birthday to me and (what was supposed to be) breonna taylor'" as a Twittr user shared. Perhaps clapping back on those comments and this sudden wave of love piling over Bryan on Twitter, another fan wrote: "Y’all finally care about Debby Ryan? B***h she was a queen before this y’all."
