Imogene Scott pieces together the puzzle and comes to the chilling realization that Lawrence Collier (David Marshall Grant) is responsible for her mother's death.

When her suspicions are confirmed by Celia Chun (Lisa Lu), she confronts Lawrence on the deck about his actions. However, Lawrence mistakes her for Kira, which leaves Imogene baffled.

Anna Collier (Lauren Patten), who has followed Imogene to the deck, reveals that Lawrence suffers from early-stage Alzheimer's, leading to moments of disorientation.

She assures Imogene that Lawrence is not involved in the ongoing murders and discloses that Lawrence was in love with Kira and he couldn't have killed her.

Despite Anna's explanations, Imogene remains convinced of Lawrence's guilt in her mother's murder. When Anna asks her to prove it, Imogene uses Lawrence's ailment to her advantage, pretending to be her deceased mother.

Lawrence, in his confused state, admits to ordering Kira's death.

Lawrence Collier employed Captionem Blue, a cheap, banned ultra-bright pigment notorious for its toxic properties, leading to cancer and numerous life-threatening ailments.

The utilization of this hazardous substance led to the death of five workers at Collier Mills, while many others suffered from illness.

The Colliers offered compensation to the families of the affected employees in exchange for their silence.

Upon discovering the illicit activities at Collier Mills, Kira gathered evidence and testimonies to build a case against Lawrence, intending to expose him. Despite Lawrence's efforts to dissuade her, she remained resolute. Eventually, he hired someone to silence her for good.

Though Lawrence admits to killing Kira Scott, the mystery around the murders of Danny Turner (Michael Gladis), Governor Alexandra Hochenberg (Tamberla Perry), Llewellyn Mathers (Jere Burns), and Katherine Collier (Jayne Atkinson) is yet to be solved.

Eight episodes of 'Death and Other Details' are available to stream on Hulu.
