LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Hulu's latest murder mystery series, 'Death and Other Details', is succeeding in keeping the fans hooked through elements of mystery and great performances.
Rufus Coteworth (Mandy Patinkin) and Imogene Scott (Violett Beane) are investigating the murder of Danny/ Keith Trubitsky (Michael Gladis). The entire staff and several VIPs on the luxury ship are now suspects.
Jules Toussaint's masterplan to associate with Sunil Bhandari
Jules Toussaint (Hugo Diego Garcia), the head of security goes missing after Interpol Agent Hilde Erikson (Linda Emond) takes over the murder investigation. While Jules is hiding inside the vessel, Episode 4 shows a little flashback of how Jules met Sunil.
Six months ago, Jules comes to Sunil's rescue when a bunch of thieves try to steal the latter's phone. Sunil then offers him a drink and ends up mentioning about his ship and a vacancy.
The throwback suggests how the attempted robbery was one big elaborate ploy to get Jules employed on Sunil's ship.
What is Jules Toussaint doing on Sunil Bhandari's ship?
Disguised as the head of security, Jules' true task is revealed in the latest episode as Imogene finds him hiding in the base of the vessel.
Jules introduces Imogene to a family of three, who is sneaking out of Ukraine. Jules reveals that he has been helping the refugees migrate to safer places for a long time now.
Imogene agrees to help Jules in hiding the refugees. In return, she seeks permission to bring down Rufus to talk to Yeva (Sofia Rosinsky), one of the refugees, who might have seen or heard something through the vents on the night of the murder.
Why is Jules Toussaint a wanted criminal?
In the previous episode, Erikson, after searching Jules' cabin, finds several fake passports and other documents. She then announces to the crew that Jules is a wanted criminal in three countries for robbery, assault, and wire fraud. It is also revealed that Jules isn't even his real name.
During the hunt, he compromises his freedom and deliberately gets caught to save the refugees. While Erikson arrests Jules, Imogene and Sunil escort the refugees out of the ship by speedboat.
Meanwhile, the focus has now shifted to Winnie Goh (Annie Q Riegel), who confesses to the murder of Danny/Keith Trubitsky.
However, the episode ends on a suspenseful note as Governor Alexandra Hochenverg is seen receiving a threatening email while Leila Collier (Pardis Saremi) mentions Victor Sams during a conversation with Rufus.
Four episodes of 'Death and Other Details' are now streaming on Hulu.
