'I am here to raise money': David Schwimmer reveals reason behind joining 'The Great British Bake Off'
LONDON, UK: David Schwimmer was recently named as one of the participants in the latest Celebrity 'The Great British Bake Off' for the cause ‘Stand Up To Cancer'. The 'Friends' star, has now shared the emotional connection for joining the show in an intimate interview. Apparently, Schwimmer considers fighting against cancer important because his grandmother and his ex-wife's mother both passed away from cancer, while his sister is a cancer survivor. The 56-year-old further said, "I am here to have fun. I am here to raise money for a great charity. It's a great cause and I happen to be a massive fan of the show."
