A real estate mogul with 3000 acres of property

Letterman became a well known real estate mogul after news reports unveiled that the late night show host owns almost 3000 acres of property. The 70-year-old Emmy winning host owns a 108-acre estate in Westchester County, New York. The reported purchase price of the property was $5M for 88 acres in 1994 and $5M for the rest of it in 2007. Along with that, the 'Peeping Times' star has acquired a 2,700-acre ranch near Chateau, Montana, situated on Martha's Vineyard and a house in St Barth's.
