NASHVILLE, TENNESSE: Danica McKellar, who starred in 'The Wonder Years', celebrated her 48th birthday on Tuesday, January 3. To celebrate her special day, the actress posted the "obligatory" makeup-free photo to Instagram, showcasing her youthful-looking face. McKellar posed with one arm behind her head while appearing to be laying down on a striped cushion with a gentle smile on her face. The 48-year-old actress donned a maroon-colored sweater.

“Well hello there, 48!” she captioned the image, adding, “Here’s the obligatory #nomakeup, #nofilter shot.” Before revealing her "secret" to looking young, McKellar thanked her friends and fans for their "beautiful birthday greetings." She wrote, "thank you so much for being on this journey with me, both with my movies on @gactv and with @mckellarmath, and of course also with my newfound faith, for which so many of you have been so encouraging!""

The 'Christmas She Wrote' star continued, “If there’s any secret I’ve found to youth, it’s in the attitude… and a healthy, clean lifestyle, of course.” The caption further read, “when I eat well and get enough rest and exercise, I have so much more access to that inner joy that makes life fun.” McKellar noted that in order to avoid the temptation of "outrage addiction" she goes to bed early rather than staying up late doomscrolling.

McKellar's “other secret to life” includes helping others. “My grandmother always said, ‘The way to be happy is to make other people happy.’ Spread it around,” the children’s book author concluded. McKellar concluded by encouraging individuals who are "inclined to give" her "a birthday gift" to make a donation to one of her preferred organizations. Soon after she posted, her comment area was inundated with birthday greetings and compliments on her looks.

Melissa Joan Hart, a co-star from the '90s, added a row of five balloon emojis to the post. Candace Cameron Bure, McKellar's co-star on the new Great American Family channel penned a message that read, "Happy birthday Danica!!!! May God bless you abundantly this new year in ways unexpected'. Riverdale star Marisol Nichols  couldn't get over the flawless face of Danice: 'You look 20!" One of the fans who were amazed by her youthful glow wrote, “I think you misspelled (misnumbered) 28.” Another fan added, “you look amazing. I would have never ever guessed you were 48! Early 30s is what I’ve always thot [sic].”
